It's a true testament to the resilience of our democracy. If the Republicans cared one bit about this country they'd impeach Trump now or invoke the 25h amendment. He's the greatest threat to our national security since 9/11.
Hopefully people who don't normally follow politics tuned in last night and saw first hand how much Trump’s mental state has deteriorated in the last 4 years. The Americans who ignore this crisis and don't vote are sleepwalking towards fascism.
Is this going to get Trump re-elected?
I couldn't sleep last night and woke up panicked like it's 11/10/16 again.
What are my fellow Democrats gut feeling about this? Is the next 45 days going to be about a single issue: Roe v Wade and the open Supreme Court seat? Because if it is I'm afraid Trump is going to be able to pull off another Electoral College "win."
The way McConnell announced 90 minutes after she was dead that he's going to fill her seat is despicable. I'm starting to see why most people hate politics and avoid the news. Following this never-ending chaos is depressing.
