Another "Three Percenter" Bites the Dust.....Guy Reffitt

Prosecutors have charged a fourth Capitol riot defendant with a firearms violation

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/january-6-capitol-riot-firearm-guy-reffitt/

A fourth Capitol riot defendant was charged Thursday with firearms violations in connection with the January 6 attack. The new charges add weight to claims that rioters used weapons during the mob violence and come after dozens of riot defendants have already been charged with wielding other "deadly or dangerous" weapons.

The defendant, Guy Reffitt, of Wylie, Texas, was charged with two new crimes in a superseding indictment Thursday, which alleged that he transported a rifle and a semi-automatic handgun to D.C. and that he carried the semi-automatic handgun while on U.S. Capitol grounds January 6.

Reffitt had already been facing three other charges for alleged obstruction of an official proceeding, entering and remaining in a restricted area and obstruction of justice. In the original affidavit filed when he was arrested in January, prosecutors said Reffitt had told his family that he'd brought his gun to D.C. and had "stormed the Capitol," but they hadn't previously charged him with a firearms violation.

Reffitt's wife told prosecutors he is a member of a "Three Percenters" militia — a group that likens present-day U.S. government to the oppression of British authorities during the Revolutionary war — and in an April court filing, the government said that Reffitt had spoken over Zoom with two other Three Percenter militia members on January 10, and told them he had been carrying a .40 firearm on his side January 6.

Two more Minnesotans have been arrested in connection to the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

FBI Minneapolis special agents arrested 42-year-old Brian Mock of Minneapolis and 29-year-old Daniel Johnson of Austin on charges relating to criminal acts at the U.S. Capitol. Mock was charged with assaulting an officer, obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, acts of physical violence on the Capitol grounds, and knowingly entering restricted buildings or grounds. Johnson was charged with entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct in a restricted building, violent entry, and demonstrating in a Capitol building.

On Jan. 6, the U.S. Capitol was overrun by a crowd of President Donald Trump’s supporters as senators worked to certify the results of the 2020 election, resulting in several deaths.

According to the criminal complaint, body camera captured Mock pushing a U.S. Capitol police officer to the ground and apparently kicking the officer. Mock then shouted "Get out! Go" to the other officers while standing at the front of the crowd. As the crowd continued advance on the officers on the terrace, Mock shoved another Capitol police officer, who was holding a police shield, to the ground. Mock picked up Capitol police riot shields and passed them back to the crowd.

According to the complaint, Daryl Johnson was formerly the mayor of St. Ansgar, Iowa. Daryl was arrested in Iowa and also charged for entering the Capitol.

Chicago police officer BITES THE DUST....Karol J. Chwiesiuk

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2021/06/11/chicago-police-officer-arrested-us-capitol-riot-karol-chwiesiuk/7657229002/

Federal authorities arrested a Chicago police officer Friday in connection with his alleged role in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Karol J. Chwiesiuk was arrested at his residence in Chicago, according to Joseph Fitzpatrick, assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. He is charged with five federal misdemeanors alleging unlawful entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, according to the federal complaint, which includes images of Chwiesiuk inside the building wearing a Chicago Police Department sweatshirt.

Chwiesiuk appeared Friday before a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Chicago and was ordered released on a personal recognizance bond, Fitzpatrick said.

A selfie of Karol J. Chwiesiuk included in the US District Court for the District of Columbia's criminal complaint against Chwiesiuk.
According to the complaint, Chwiesiuk sent text messages to someone the Sunday before the attack saying he was going to D.C. to "save the nation" and "f*** up some commies." The person cooperated with authorities and said he'd known Chwiesiuk for 10 years, according to the complaint.

When the person pointed out Donald Trump had lost the election and the courts had rejected the campaign's many legal challenges for lack of evidence or standing, Chwiesiuk responded: "Didn’t read. Busy planning how to f*** up commies."

So he wanted to "f**k up some commies" ?...Hows that working out for you?
