Trump describes walking in on beauty pageant contestants while they're naked.

Buried in this piece is Trump confessing to another act of sexual assault: Walking in on beauty pageant contestants while they're naked.

https://twitter.com/Shakestweetz/status/784845341694754816?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Co-host Robin Quivers then asked Trump if sleeping with the contestants could be construed as a conflict of interest.

"It could be a conflict of interest," Trump said. "But, you know, it's the kind of thing you worry about later, you tend to think about the conflict a little bit later on."

Stern then put on a fake foreign accent, saying that "some of these foreign girls" say hello "with vagina."
"Well, what you could also say is that, as the owner of the pageant, it's your obligation to do that," Trump said, before discussing how he got away with going backstage when the contestants were naked.

"Well, I'll tell you the funniest is that before a show, I'll go backstage and everyone's getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant and therefore I'm inspecting it," Trump said. "You know, I'm inspecting because I want to make sure that everything is good."

"You know, the dresses. 'Is everyone okay?' You know, they're standing there with no clothes. 'Is everybody okay?' And you see these incredible looking women, and so, I sort of get away with things like that. But no, I've been very good," he added.
Later in the episode, Stern asks Trump to assure his audience that "the chicks will be almost naked" at his pageant, saying to Trump that before he bought the contest, "they were starting to take women who were educated over women who were hot."

"They had a person who was extremely proud that a number of the women had become doctors," Trump explained. "And I wasn't interested."

Donald blamed 9 Billion Debt lie in his books on Meredith McIver -Where is she BTW?

Tales from the Trump University legal vault

More details from the voluminous court filings:

Trump was heavily involved in marketing. It’s unclear what else.

Some of Trump’s lawyers have tried to distance him from Trump University, claiming that he had little to do with its daily operations. But in depositions, both Trump and Trump University President Michael Sexton indicated the real estate magnate was hands-on with at least one part of the business: marketing.

Trump said in a deposition in the California case, recorded in 2012 and released in part last year, that he sometimes reviewed advertisements and testimonials for Trump University. And Sexton said Trump reviewed print ads. Some Trump University advertising alluded to Trump’s success with “The Apprentice”; one promised potential enrollees a chance to “learn from the master."

“Any time we had a new ad, we would discuss it,” Sexton said. The conversations happened “fairly frequently” — each time there was a new batch of print advertisements for Trump University, according to Sexton. In comparison, Sexton said he only occasionally reviewed financial documents with Trump.

Meredith McIver, who co-wrote Trump tomes including “Trump 101: The Way to Success,” also works as a ghostwriter for Trump and worked with him on blog posts and Q & A's for Trump University, according to Sexton.

“Certainly Miss McGiver [sic] created content for our newsletter and our blog, but, you know, it was fairly collaborative. Mr. Trump was always — he would come up with often the topic and then ultimately would approve the — the copy as well,” Sexton said in a deposition.

Trump referred all kinds of questions about the business and its operations to Sexton, including what students got in exchange for an apprenticeship program and whether Trump University instructors had to have college degrees. Trump also said in his deposition he didn’t know the last name of one of the “two girls that work in the office” and help schedule appointments and check emails.

But Jill Martin, a Trump Organization vice president and assistant general counsel, told POLITICO that though Trump “was not involved in the day-to-day operations, he was very much involved in developing the content of the courses,” which she said incorporated many of Trump’s business and real estate strategies and provided students with real-world examples based on the billionaire’s own real estate successes.

Trump’s deposition for the California lawsuit contradicts this: Asked about who developed the course materials, he said that “the different professors created their own material” and Sexton oversaw the process.

Trump University told staff to avoid the media — and the attorney general.

Why Donald Trump Should Not Be President ~NYT Editorial Opinion

Donald Trump is a man who dwells in bigotry, bluster and false promises.

When Donald Trump began his improbable run for president 15 months ago, he offered his wealth and television celebrity as credentials, then slyly added a twist of fearmongering about Mexican “rapists” flooding across the Southern border.

From that moment of combustion, it became clear that Mr. Trump’s views were matters of dangerous impulse and cynical pandering rather than thoughtful politics. Yet he has attracted throngs of Americans who ascribe higher purpose to him than he has demonstrated in a freewheeling campaign marked by bursts of false and outrageous allegations, personal insults, xenophobic nationalism, unapologetic sexism and positions that shift according to his audience and his whims.

Now here stands Mr. Trump, feisty from his runaway Republican primary victories and ready for the first presidential debate, scheduled for Monday night, with Hillary Clinton. It is time for others who are still undecided, and perhaps hoping for some dramatic change in our politics and governance, to take a hard look and see Mr. Trump for who he is. They have an obligation to scrutinize his supposed virtues as a refreshing counterpolitician. Otherwise, they could face the consequences of handing the White House to a man far more consumed with himself than with the nation’s well-being.

Here’s how Mr. Trump is selling himself and why he can’t be believed.

A financial wizard who can bring executive magic to government?

Despite his towering properties, Mr. Trump has a record rife with bankruptcies and sketchy ventures like Trump University, which authorities are investigating after numerous complaints of fraud. His name has been chiseled off his failed casinos in Atlantic City.

Mr. Trump’s brazen refusal to disclose his tax returns — as Mrs. Clinton and other nominees for decades have done — should sharpen voter wariness of his business and charitable operations. Disclosure would undoubtedly raise numerous red flags; the public record already indicates that in at least some years he made full use of available loopholes and paid no taxes.

Mr. Trump has been opaque about his questionable global investments in Russia and elsewhere, which could present conflicts of interest as president, particularly if his business interests are left in the hands of his children, as he intends. Investigations have found self-dealing. He notably tapped $258,000 in donors’ money from his charitable foundation to settle lawsuits involving his for-profit businesses, according to The Washington Post.

A straight talker who tells it like it is?

Mr. Trump, who has no experience in national security, declares that he has a plan to soundly defeat the Islamic State militants in Syria, but won’t reveal it, bobbing and weaving about whether he would commit ground troops. Voters cannot judge whether he has any idea what he’s talking about without an outline of his plan, yet Mr. Trump ludicrously insists he must not tip off the enemy.

Reminder: What George W did on his FIRST DAY IN OFFICE!

Who remembers this?

Bush bans funds for international family planning groups that support abortion

By Kate Randall
24 January 2001

In one of his first actions as president, George W. Bush on Monday reinstated a ban first initiated under the Reagan administration which will deny US aid to international organizations that use their own money to provide abortions, counsel women on abortions or support pro-abortion lobbying of foreign governments. Clinton had lifted the ban—known among its opponents as the “global gag rule”—when he assumed office in 1993.

Bush timed his announcement to coincide with the twenty-eighth anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision of the US Supreme Court legalizing abortion. Thousands of anti-abortionists rallied outside the high court in Washington on Monday in their annual rally calling for the overturning of a woman's right to choose. The “right to life” forces, feeling emboldened with an ally in the White House, carried signs such as “Michigan Loves Our Pro-Life President” and “It's War! Baby.” A message from Bush was read out to the crowd, which said in part: “We share a great goal: to work toward a day when every child is welcomed in life and protected in law.”

International family planning organizations, however, were quick to point out that the effect of Bush's initiative will lead not to “a culture of life” but to increased poverty, suffering and death. It will result in the cutoff of family planning funds to some of the world's most impoverished women and families in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the countries of the former Soviet Union. Critics note that as a result more women will be denied contraceptive services, face unwanted pregnancies and die as a result of childbirth or illegal abortions. Funds for programs aimed at stopping sexual transmission of the HIV virus that causes AIDS will also be impacted, resulting in more disease and death.

Bush Bans Aid to Abortion Support Groups Overseas

Politics: President's action on first workday eclipses effort to focus on education. Protesters marking the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade roar approval at the news.
January 23, 2001|JAMES GERSTENZANG and JANET HOOK | TIMES STAFF WRITERS
WASHINGTON — President Bush, on his first Monday in office, blocked government grants to international family planning groups that pay for abortions or abortion counseling with their own money.

Bush's decision, one of the first of his administration, reversed eight years of Clinton administration policy, turning the clock back to a policy established by President Reagan. It also overshadowed the new president's plan to focus his administration immediately on education reform.

In an executive order, Bush declared that "taxpayer funds should not be used to pay for abortions or advocate or actively promote abortion, either here or abroad." However, the federal government has not directly used its funds to pay for abortions overseas since 1973.

The day's events offered Bush a lesson on the extent and limit of presidential power. It also reminded Republicans in Congress, who fought with President Clinton annually over the abortion policy, of just how much new leverage they wield.

"That's when it really sinks in that it's a whole new world," said Michele Davis, spokeswoman for House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-Texas). "We fought for half a loaf with Clinton and now it's done with the stroke of a pen."

But other Republicans showed that leading Congress can be like riding a tiger, because it is an institution with many competing agendas.
