Madam45for2923's JournalWhen situations are fast-moving and tactical in nature, take raw intel for what it is. Don't mistake
Protip: When situations are fast-moving and tactical in nature, take raw intel for what it is. Don't mistake for analyzed/finished work.
Also, when things are super important and moving quick, don't spend time lashing out at sources if they miss a detail. Assess. Move forward.
Moreover: intelligence is a team sport. Different skillsets come together in real time. No one source knows everything - nor one analyst.
Fake News (or propaganda) is the mass repetition of a single lie. This is different than "Hey, it looks like - Oh wait, stand down."
Momentary mistaken observations or the need to cross-check intel with a subject-matter-expert is not the same as being reckless/fraudulent
Compare the above tactical intelligence practices with journalism. Both deal with information, but goals are very different by nature.
With regards to the nascent culture of Impeachment Twitter, think of the updates here as raw intel and journalists as finished intel.
For contrast, see what real Deza/Fake News looks like, exposed by @RVAwonk
(Story about Seth Rich)
Deza/Fake News is a coordinated attempt to distract the public from truthful (not perfect) narratives. It is not about "mistakes."
Deza/Fake News is the pounding of a single bullshit story in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Debate never entertained.
To sum up: you may see updates on a fast-moving situation. Seek confirmation. Use skepticism. Challenge your assumptions! And stay sharp

I thought I'd share this guy's great take on situation we are in.
Ted Lieu on Judiciary Committee on Trump & Impeachment proceedings -on Friday
I am on the House Judiciary Committee. This is what I am going to read this evening.
https://twitter.com/tedlieu/status/865772627469754368
This is the House Judiciary Committee. Fun fact: If there are impeachment proceedings, this is where it would start. Just sayin'.
https://twitter.com/tedlieu/status/865219791539372032
So its notable that Lieu, who also has a Judicial Doctorate and practiced law while he was an Air Force JAG, has confirmed that hes researching the impeachment process while stressing that he sits on the committee where impeachment begins.

I found this info on Impeachment:
Impeachment Primer
1. A motion for impeachment is made in the house with the charges described [ Indictment ]
2. Debate ensues
3. Vote
4. Majority vote means House has determined that probable cause does exist thus The accused is now Impeached
5. The charges move to the senate for the trial
6. The trial Judge is the Chief Justice ( Roberts )
7. Evidence presented
8. Testimony
9. Defense
10. It takes a 2/3 majority vote for conviction 67 senators
In the history of our country no President has ever been convicted

Dear Hacker, I will insist! I will persist! I will resist!
Disgusting that you used Seth Rich in your hack.
Sucks to be you!
As you where.
Sanders misses another financial reporting deadline- May 15th- 20 day Extension to June 4th
What the heck? Many posts below deleted after yesterday?
All U.S. senators are required to file annual reports with the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics, detailing their assets, liabilities and investments, as well as gifts and travel provided by private entities.
Sanders was granted a 20-day extension, and his disclosure is now due June 4. According to Senate rules, extensions may be granted for up to 90 days.
Once filed, the 2016 report will shade in some of Sanders financial details during an exceptionally busy year for the senator, who ran an upstart bid for president before writing a best-selling book reflecting on the campaign.

edit: This is new news. Filings were due this week on Monday. Article is from Yesterday. Vermont newspaper.
Let's use this TRUMP/RUSSIA time to put down DEM Figures, COMEY & others investigating!
Let's use this time to get our feelings hurt because DEM reps don't have the numbers but are still working to make this happen.
Let's put Comey down even though he has the goods on Trump & Russia
Let's put investigators down because... reasons... even though they are putting themselves out there when the MSM is not.
YES I SAY this is perfect time to discredit all of the above.
Yes I say this is the perfect time to try to sabotage all of the above, the DEM party & us.

Pelosi did NOT say no impeachment- Please watch video:

This OP here does not care that that is not what she said even though plenty of posters are informing and asking to change title:

I wonder what is up with that?

We could have had it all

If I or anyone else wants to read Mensch and Taylor, it's really NOYDB. Sure I'm not alone on this
Funny all these attacks on her today. I and others consider her to be an ally.
If you don't buy her ideas, fine. That is your opinion, but others will continue to read her.
I have her back because she is putting herself out there and her safety on the line. She is researching things that no one including MSM is bothering with.
To me she is a soldier fighting for the USA. Brit she. Our country is worth fighting for.
She has shared that she has ADHD which is a curse and a blessing. It explains her research and methods. Hyperfocused and able to see connections from lots and lots of data... which is what the Trump/Russia is made of.
I for one am thankful for her time and energy.
Dear LM carry on! Brave woman and patriot.
edit:
I love this quote from Charlotte Little:
If I or anyone else wants to read Mensch and Taylor, it's really NOYDB.
I personally hope their right even if they get the details all squirrelly. In the meantime, I follow them on twitter just as I follow Maddow and O'Donnell. I'm a big girl, all grown up and capable of deciding for myself what I think is possible and what's not. Has nothing to do with it being "helpful for some purpose." I would imagine I'm not alone on this.
