It's showing respect for the democratic and egalitarian ideals that the American flag stands for, and at the same instant it's pointing out dramatically how far from ideal is the reality of life in 2017 America.

Such Royal, Inc. snakeshit is exactly what the USA was founded get free of. As world history makes painfully obvious, tyrant government sucks for everyone. Everyone that is except the "elite" sitting on their freaking solid gold toilets, eating "beautiful chocolate cake," playing with their putters, and fracking the freaking planet to greed-driven smithereens while climate chaos rages.
Yet now republicans, with the aid of their russian money-mob cronies, are overthrowing democracy in America in support of a deceitful, amoral, and mean-spirited tyrant with pretensions of royalty and faux religiosity. And to this republicans meekly surrender and assume the position as submissives. Some sick anti-freedom, un-American, weak-willed crap there. I'm just not having it.

What we need is HONORABLE t-shirts
I ain't walking around with no stinkin DEPLORABLE t-shirt on my chest. I mean, really. I do not aspire to be a lying, cheating, treasonous a-hole who self-identifies as a supporter of a Casino Sharpie who has been installed by the republicans and russians as their Draft-Dodger-in-Chief.
That's just not a goal for me.
But I do aspire to be an HONORABLE human being and an honorable American citizen. Toss me into the Basket of Honorables. Thus, I would glady wear a t-shirt with a design that said:

OK, so right after the eclipse, Comrade Casino, the republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief, will wing his way into Phoenix, Arizona for a bigly 2020 election campaign rally and fundraiser.

It's likely also that while engaging in his toxic Game while on the Throne in Pheonix, he will as usual piss all over the truth and other core American values, and spew further republican toxins into the body politic, dividing and weakening America as the hungry, drooling Money-lending Mobster Wolves of russia look on with delight.
