Hello!And thank you!

I used to lurk here quite a bit during the dark days of Little Georgie's administration. There were three sites that helped keep my sanity back in those days: DU, Dailykos and Bartcop.I'm happy to see DU and Kos are still going strong, but I'm sorry to see Bart is no longer with us. I loved that guy! Being from a fellow red state, his rants were like a soothing balm. And to this day, I can never hear a Garbage song without remembering Bart and his huge crush on Shirley Manson.

I don't know how much posting I'll do here, I feel a bit overwhelmed with all the remarkable people here. But this election season has been so appalling I feel I needed to join in. And to thank DU for helping to keep me sane!
