ProudLib72's Journal73-year-old woman was worried about the meth she was smoking, so she took it to her doctor
Barbara Lee Ray, 73, of Polk County, Florida, asked her doctor to test the meth because she was worried it was doing harm, the Miami Herald reported.
Ray had been using the drug for about a month, but it remains uncertain where she got it or why she was smoking it, according to the paper.
Deputies said she went to Complete Care Family Medicine Associates on Nov. 5 to test the product, which came back positive for meth.
Ray was booked into the Polk County jail on two counts of possession of methamphetamine and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was released two days after visiting the doctor.

Who Here Trusts Flake to Keep His Word and Not Support Judicial Appointments?
Yeah, right!
Watch Cindy Hyde-Smith Refuse to Explain Her "Public Hanging" Comment
Here is my statement regarding Cindy Hyde-Smith: She is a vile person who has no business being in the Senate. She is a horrible throwback to the Jim Crow era and should be forced to step down and let someone from this century take her place.
Did Pelosi Call for Bipartisanship?
Maybe I'm totally mistaken, but that's what I got from listening to her speech today. So I'm wondering if this might have been more of her offering a way out for anti-Rump Rs than an olive branch. And if it is a way out, does that say something about the current House R's feelings about Rump? Maybe it's just a ploy for Dems to lay low until the transfer of power?
Hmmmmm
Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not knocking Pelosi at all. I'm simply wondering about the dynamics in the House that we are not aware of.
Blueberry Pancakes at IHOP for Breakfast Anyone?
Blue...you flip them...anyone?
Come on, we NEED to celebrate taking the House! We NEED to rub their faces in it. It's the first step, and it's a major one. Then Mueller will release the indictments later this week or early next week. You just wait and see!

Been Motivating More Students to Vote Today
This morning, I wrote on the whiteboard that today was the last day to register online to vote. Wrote it in big, blue letters and left it up for two hours. When my student who told me last week that she hadn't registered came in, I pointed out the sign to her... just to make damned sure she saw it. When I went in for my afternoon class, I asked an early student if he had voted. "No". Was he registered? "No". I told him all he needed to do was register online, quick and painless, but today was the very last day to do it without having to go in person and stand in a long line. Guess what, he registered right then and there on his iPhone. He even commented about how easy it was.
And that takes care of my patriotic duty for the day!
