Question about Hunter Biden's foreign business deals...

I know the Republicans and Magats are trying their hardest to tie Joe Biden to some kind of bribery through his son's business deals.

My question is:
Is Hunter Biden being charged for anything illegal with those business deals? In other words, are the deals themselves legit if no connection to quid pro quo is ever made?

I hate the way Magats twist things and lack understanding

Recently had a Magat tell me that the Chips Act was designed by Biden to "sell us out to China" by allowing China to make semiconductors here in the United States.

I got a little response by informing them that the US invented semiconductors and that investment was coming back to the US under the act, but in the end she thought she knew more about it than I did.

It's so hard to even talk to these idiots.

Question for WW2 History Buffs

Without going into details, I have a Trump supporter who is accusing me of being like the German people who supported Hitler prior to WW2. In his mind Liberals are just like the people who supported Hitler, and because of this we are all doomed to repeat the awful history of the 40s.

Godwin's Law set aside, here is my question:

Is it historically accurate to equate support of Trump after Jan 6 with support of Hitler after the 1923 Beer Hall Putsch?

From the standpoint of support, I think the two events are very similar, but I'm not totally sure of all the details of the Beer Hall Putsch. In other words, Hitler was a man who was jailed for attempting to bring down the German government, but still maintained support. I would like to point out that it is he who is possibly going to repeat history by supporting a man who will go to great lengths to hold power, but I want to be accurate when making the comparison.

If I'm going to flirt with Godwin's Law, I want to at least be accurate.

Wow! I hadn't paid attention to all the fuss over Jason Aldean's song. Now I know.

I did not know the video was actually shot in front of a courthouse famous for being the site of a terrible lynching. That location was no accident.

Who shoots videos in front of random courthouses?

Someone behind the making of that video knew the awful significance of that specific location. If Aldean himself didn't know, then he's the dumbest man alive. If he did know, then he's the asshole people are saying he is.
