the barr brothers - it came to me (live at paste studio - 2017) just give it a minute ...

this is kick ass tune with a swampy groove Credence would've been proud to lay down ... honestly these brothers are really freaking good, been listening to their 3 albums lately, and they're all borderline great. they do a lot of styles, very creative, good thoughtful lyrics, lots of unusual instruments, but they play well together ... these dudes really should be huge ...

trust me, it's not a solo on a weird violin-looking thing lol

just to show ya the diversity ... and the chops ... equally at home with a gorgeous simon & garfunkel style ballad as they are the above rocker ...

Let's not fall into the semantics trap of calling what's going to happen 'Stimulus'

This is going to be a BAILOUT, not 'stimulus'.

Obama's TARP plan was extremely comprehensive, involve all kinds of measures including tax rebates, help for community banks, extra money for medicaid, and all sorts of other stuff. I believe only around $300B was given to corporations.

And lets not forget that the companies that received TARP funds received them for PROVIDING GOODS AND SERVICES, and providing jobs. Roads, Infrastructure, solar panels, etc.

It was NOT a free handout. Further, there were strict limits on bonuses to execs working for companies, along with lots of other rules imposed.

What's about to happen is much more correctly a BAILOUT, like Bush did with the Banks in 2008.

This one takes me back. Pet Your Friends was actually a really solid mid-90's alt-rock album. Played the hell out of it at the time.

And of course the other hit off the album ... classic ... the outro is badass ... pretty sure it's longer on the CD ...



A bonus album track that friggin' ROCKS ASS ... these dudes could play, I'm telling ya.

Anyone ever had a kitty with 'gallop rhythm' in the heart?

My boys pushing 17yo and the vet told me at his checkup (first in over a year) earlier in the week that she's hearing a gallop rhythm. I've looked it up on the web and understand there's some drugs that could help like diuretics and various other stuff, just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with it?

Vets are only taking emergency cases and all that seems wrong with him is his eating has gotten finicky lately and he's eating less as a result. And he's sleeping more.

Expect we'll start hearing about a Massive Drop in Home Sales real soon here ...

I can't go into details but let's just say I have access to the transaction counts of a pretty major entity in the residential real estate field, and MAN ... things are slowing WAY WAY down in the last month.

As you would expect.

Where I would normally see numbers like 250-500 homes sold in such and such time period ... I'm seeing ... 20-40, and that's 2 weeks ago.

Now, these numbers I get have a lag time so the numbers over the last week that are in the SINGLE DIGITS ... will grow as the contracts come in. But I'm expecting them to grow to like 15-25. Instead of 250-500.

So ... man ... I'm here to tell ya almost nobody has been buying homes for going on almost a month now. Sales are down 85-90%.

It's bad. Real bad.
