Olberman makes good points, and I really believe this should be pursued by a Special Prosecutor.
But I don't understand this suggestion for a Grand Jury. Wouldn't a Grand Jury bury everything in another layer of secrecy? We'd never know truth about Trump & the Russians then, it would all be sealed. The Repugnants didn't give Bill Clinton a secret Grand Jury trial, his impeachment was right out there on national TV.
Roger Ailes is one of Trump's best buddies
I guess most people know that Ailes was the one who built the Fox News into what it is today - a steaming lying sack of shit network with nothing but fake news.
Ailes is no longer with the network since he got his golden parachute about a year ago. However I'm sure he's been planning something with the head-Cheeto such as a new lying sack of shit network with Trump's name on it. That was in the works even before he won the election. I wouldn't be surprised to find out if maybe Trump has stock or part ownership in Fox News.
Too much credit to Trump, he's not a mastermind
I think this guy is giving Trump way too much credit. There might be a mastermind BEHIND Trump that's manipulating him, but I don't believe Trump himself is smart enough or clever enough. His only goal was to get lots of adulation as a presidential candidate, and then cash in on a new reality TV show where he's the "star". That's as far as it went.
As for being the actual president of an actual country, he has no clue what he's doing.

Doesn't matter if he's guilty, or if they have the goods on him. If all the lawyers and judges are working for Trump, that is.
This article says Trump has filed SEVEN bankruptcies, is that for real? I thought it was 4, and even that sounds bad.
Mom Dottie Sandusky had to know what was happening
This is a sickening story, and we in Pennsylvania had to go through the trial and sentencing of Jerry S. a few years ago.
But it's never been revealed how much Jerry's wife knew, in fact I don't believe she even took the witness stand at the trial. If she did testify, it was only to say that she didn't know what was going on with those boys. Yeah right. Not only did Jerry abuse some of the boys in their own house, apparently it was happening with some of their adopted children as well.
Dottie knew - those were her children too. She looked the other way and pretended it wasn't happening. Criminal negligence, she belongs in jail with her husband.
Sadly their children who were abused (at least 2 of the adopted boys) will need many years of counselling, but Jeffrey should never be allowed near children again. I don't believe in blaming the victims, but this cannot continue.

I'm frequently on the Gawker Media blogs and they were forever posting terrible photos of Hillary.
I think they did it on purpose but I was never sure.
Now that she's no longer a candidate, she's not so stressed out.
Hopefully she's tuned the whole mess out of her head by now.
I'm not sure Americans understand this grievance
I'm a new member to DU and this is my first post. Sorry if this is out of line. However I speak and read German and I've traveled to Germany 7 or 8 times in the last 20 years. What's really relevant is that I sing with a German chorus here in Pittsburgh so I'm very familiar with their national anthem.
Their anthem was written by Josef Haydn in the 1700's and the first verse was "Deutschland, Deutschland über Alles" the same that one hears in the old World War II war movies. (Boo Nazis!) However after the war was over the new German government immediately made it against the law to ever sing the first verse of that song since it was forever connected with Hitler and the Nazi era. Instead they named the 3rd verse as their national anthem, "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit" which means Unity, Justice and Freedom.
So we Americans who have mostly been educated in public schools don't know these details because public schools never teach history of the modern era. How few of us have graduated high school knowing about anything as recent as World War II? Not many of us. The reason is politics pure and simple. Whenever children used to come home from school telling their parents that they learned about Nazis and Communists etc., the parents would raise hell and get the teacher fired. I graduated in the late 60's and I know that we never covered any US History as recent as WWII, things like Russia, Red China, Vietnam, the Middle East were never discussed. I'm sure it's worse now because there's so much more political correctness the teachers must observe.
Americans do not know the sensitive issues that other countries face (such as the German national anthem) because it has never been taught to us. One can also say that we're too lazy to learn about other cultures, but that might not be fair. I believe that the gaff by the USTA was one of ignorance, it wasn't a conscious insult. However they should be ashamed anyway for not knowing that it's important to get it right.
