Anyone just endlessly frustrated with how hopeless holding people accountable is?

Trump is guilty. There is absolutely no doubt about that. Today's testimony alone is enough grounds to remove him from office tomorrow. And every single Republican, especially trash like Nunes, Jordan, Graham, etc. will never ever change their view no matter how much evidence comes out.

And since the DoJ is insanely corrupt now, we have no real mechanism to investigate Republicans who are helping destroy the country.

Trump is getting impeached, obviously. But he's not going to get convicted, which means he will go into the 2020 election openly cheating without a single real consequence.

Jordan, Nunes, etc. will face no consequences for their destruction of the country.

I just hate that there are so many evil, corrupt people involved with this, and we have no real way to hold them accountable. Voting them out isn't satisfying enough and is hard to do anyway.

I'm venting, but I wish Congress could to something like form an independent commission with prosecution power to start investigating everyone involved in these crimes. Nunes, Jordan, Meadows, Gaetz, Graham, Barr, Pompeo, Mulvaney, Kushner, Don Jr, Ivanka, Trump... ALL of them..

I doubt anything will happen to him, but if Katie Hill had to resign over a relationship with a staffer, Jim Jordan should be forced to resign over this.

I don't know how to get the House to start an ethics investigation into this.

Mr. Zelensky had discussed the suspension of aid with Mr. Pence, Mr. Sondland said.

“I said that resumption of the U.S. aid would likely not occur until Ukraine provided the public anticorruption statement that we had been discussing for many weeks,” Mr. Sondland said in the document, which was released by the House committees leading the inquiry, along with the transcript of his original testimony from last month.


Sondland said after hearing Taylor's testimony he "recalled" the events and confirmed there was a quid pro quo.

He pointed out that the top 4 candidates (Biden, Warren, Sanders, Buttigieg) are all polling nationally above Trump, obviously with Biden leading the pack slightly.

But they also polled 6 battleground states: Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, and PA.

Biden is leading Trump in all 6. Sanders is leading in 3. Warren is only leading in 1.

He also said that a lot of the people polled who voted for Democrats in the Midterm Congressional races plan on going back to Trump in 2020.
