BigmanPigman's JournalWagner troops could be in Moscow in 6 hours
I didn't know they were THAT close.
"The clip shows the vehicles speeding down the M4 motorway to the landmark city, adding further credence to the sense that they are heading for the Kremlin.
Rostov, on the Ukrainian border is around 14 hours from the Russian capital, but Voronezh is around six hours away, meaning Wagner forces are closing in on the Kremlin, with potentially grave ramifications for Putin.
An armed rebellion by the Wagner mercenary group is the most significant challenge to the Russian state in recent times, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has said."

I wish I could sue tRump since those documents are mine, paid for by my
Taxes. He doesn't even pay taxes. Every single US taxpayer owns those documents. I would love a huge lawsuit filed on the behalf of the taxpayers. I am not a lawyer but there should be something the average citizen can do to make him a little more miserable, even though I know he would never pay a red cent but that isn't the point. He sues everyone over everything, and Mr. "They're mine, they're mine" needs his Karma. They are NOT HIS, they belong to all of us. This is my pipe dream.

The fire broke out around 6 a.m. underneath I-95 near the Cottman Avenue exit in the Tacony section of the city.
Sources say the blaze was caused by a tanker truck carrying thousands of gallons of 87 octane gasoline.

tRump's attorneys are such losers that the press informed them
of tRump being charged and the exact charges before THEY knew. The Guardian reporter just said this on MSNBC.
I knew they were incompetent but this is really clueless. He is screwed!

Is it a good idea for men in their 80s to become new fathers?
Recently I have read about Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino becoming fathers while hitting the age of 80 (plus). Experience, money, time may be factors but is it a good idea for the new to be raised by someone who is closer to being a great grandfather? Is this a "fad" for celebrities?
Manson follower Leslie Van Houten should be paroled, California appeals court rules
Source: AP News
"A California appeals court said Tuesday that Leslie Van Houten, who participated in two killings at the direction of cult leader Charles Manson in 1969, should be released from prison on parole."
"The appellate courts ruling reverses an earlier decision by Gov. Gavin Newsom, who rejected parole for Van Houten in 2020. She has been recommended for parole five times since 2016. All of those recommendations were rejected by either Newsom or former Gov. Jerry Brown. Newsom could request that California Attorney General Rob Bonta petition the state Supreme Court to stop her release. Bontas office referred questions to Newsoms office, which didnt respond to queries about possible next steps."
"Van Houten, now in her 70s, is serving a life sentence for helping Manson and other followers kill Leno LaBianca, a grocer in Los Angeles, and his wife, Rosemary."
"Newsom has said that Van Houten still poses a danger to society. In rejecting her parole, he said she offered an inconsistent and inadequate explanation for her involvement with Manson at the time of the killings."

What is this about? Walt Nauta seems to be a name I've been hearing
about today but I can't find a thread on DU. I heard him mentioned on MSNBC for a brief time but I am still confused about this. Is this a big deal for some reason?
"Prosecutors have focused on why so many records remained on the property after Corcorans search, including the role of Walt Nauta, an aide to Trump who was seen on Mar-a-Lago security camera footage moving boxes in and out of the storage room"
