Le Gaucher's JournalEvery single day I hope Bob Mueller is an inch closer to nailing Agent Orange.
But what if he isn't able to prove Collusion.
Maybe Trump knew Russia was trying to help him win and he was simply okay with it. Is that criminal conduct? I don't know. And if there is no solid evidence for collusion , then does obstruction have legs? Maybe Mueller will get him on money laundering or perjury.
The point is, let's not pin our hopes on Mueller. Lets imagine there is no Mueller and our only hope is getting the House and the Senate in face of gerrymandered districts and Russian interference 2.0 .
I wish we had a national leader who could direct us..
But as someone said, we are the leaders we are waiting for.
I plan to knock on doors and convince people to vote.
Because, from experience, that is the only method that works. Not mailers, not Facebook posts, not TV ads .. but good old fashioned, door to door canvassing.
My target is to knock on 500 doors before election day.

What kind of person will it take to, not just win but wipe the floor with Donald Trump in 2020
Because if Dems can't blow the shit out of Republicans with the Orange Buffoon in 2020 ..then shame on us.
Let's just focus on personality type- not specific people.
In my mind, the person who can do that may not make the best president. So let's leave the issue of being suitable and prepared for the job out. Because after Hillary, that is almost a negative when it comes to electability with the fucked up middle of the ballot voters ( they don't Fucking care about true merits). Hillary was qualified for POTUS and Trump is only qualified to lick Putin's balls. He still won.
I think someone with a folksy charm , attractive to look at and no nonsense but fair attitude about him ( yes a guy) will win. He should not be one bit afraid to treat Trump like the criminal he is on the debate stage.

What do conservatives conserve?
They are ruining the planet .. they are busting our budget through ruinous tax cuts and out of control military spending.. they would shred the saftey nets if they could and let the old/poor people starve and die.
The only thing they want to conserve is previlege for people who already have it. They want those privileges to be passed down to a select few. Previleges afforded by wealth, race and religion are not to be given out.. rather conserved and added to. And the end justifies all means.
So please remind me why the bloody fuck are they conservatives.
