Le Gaucher's JournalIs it me ..or are the new LED head lamps awefully blindingly bright?
So many cars have these super bright head lights .. I thought they had their high beams on and tried to signal them ..and they responded by momentarily blinding me with their high beams.
Are the LED lamps an issue or do I have to see me eye doctor?
Part of a reason why Hillary lost is the proliferation of unsubstantiated news.
So it saddens me to see nice folks on DU fall for it.
We must resist click bait and rumor mill sources especially when the fiction being peddled fits our fantasies.

I dont want trump to be impeached
I want him to stay in office and pick silly fights with everyone , watch cable news all day and get into Twitter rage . Basically do Nothing of substance
Because the Alternative is Mike Pence.
I think I realize what makes Trump tick
It is his utter shamelessness.
He is too lazy to understand stuff he does not know and has a very fragile ego which cannot handle criticism. So his only survival mechanism is to shamelessly lie about everything. If he has a brain freeze and blurts out that he invented 'prime the pump' .. No amount facts will be sufficient to shame him into admitting his mistake. Shamelessness is his shield against the evil world out to get him . ( He most definitely suffers from some kind of persecution complex) And shamelessness lets him get away with morally and ethically dubious things.
If there was ever a temple built for shamelessness - Trump would be the resident God.
And at his altar would worship lots of people who are also afflicted by a sense of shame given their livelihood struggles. Pray to Trump and let your sense of shame disaapear. Facts be damned.
Now you know why he always gets a pass from many.
Despite the hectic headlines over the past couple days, taking Trump down is not a given
That leech is here to stay for the next four years atleast.(If you think the house AND the Senate will vote with necessary majority to remove him from office - count me as a skeptic)
He may have broken the law - but proving it and taking action is going to be hard.
The best we can do is elect a majority on both chambers.
The reason Trump is president today is becsuse R's won the house in 2010 and used subpeona powers to carry out a bullshit witch hunt of Hillary Clinton 24x7 .. Sad to say they succeeded.
We must take back the house and pay them back with interest.
It is going to be a slow process .. But stay determined and focussed. Our time will come.
If it can be proven that Trump colluded with Russia and congress refuses to
Impeach him .
What options exist?
Is collusion in of itself a sentenceable crime? Can FBI arrest him?
What is the intent of the 5th ammendment?
I always assumed that it was the basis for preventing a forced confession (like using torture)..
if that is indeed the case - can you make the case that one cannot plead the 5th when there is no threat of torture - like in a congressional hearing?
Our system of government is being put through a stress test..
The results so far are not pretty.
We have atleast 2 branches of Government that are compromised with the third on the brink.
Public Institutions are being eviscerated.
We have to wait until 2018 to fight the next battle. And we will be up against gerrymandered district and dumbfucks from freeperland.
And Oh .. Jeff Bastard Sessions will do everything to turn the clock back on civil rights.
I just hope we do not see journalists/civil servants getting murdered but things in general are going to get much worse before they get better.
So buckle up.
Now might be a good time for us to be piling on pressure to impeach cheeto
Call your congressman/woman .. Dont ramble.
Have a prepared statement that ask your congressman that Trump needs to be impeached because he is embroiled in all sorts of controvorsies and it doesnt make you feel good. Keep it folksy and make sure you sound all upset.
Give your zip code ..and they will have to log your call.
The objective may not succeed ... But if enough of them are rattled - then they will at least stop cooperating with the WH as far as the legislative agenda goes

If Atty. Gen Sessions has recused himself from all things related to the Russian Investigation - then how can he recommend the firing of the main person responsible for leading the Russian Investigation???
