I am already seeing a bunch of "There is nothing to see here" articles regarding

Comey testimony.

I hope that the republicans latch on to that and thoroughly bankrupt themselves with last voter willing to give them a benefit of doubt.

Cant wait for 2018

Comey giving Trump Get out of jail card

Here you go:

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/exclusive-comey-stop-short-trump-obstructed-justice-flynn/story?id=47865739

There will be much in former FBI Director James Comey’s upcoming congressional testimony that will make the White House uncomfortable, but he will stop short of saying the president interfered with the agency's probe into former national security adviser Michael Flynn, a source familiar with Comey's thinking told ABC News.

India commits to sell only electric cars by 2030. It is already the largest market for solar power.

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/870411649621999617

One of global strategies that companies persue is reverse innovation where products and processes developed locally for the benefit of developing countries are then adapted for use in the first world.

This is substantially different from using third world labor for production of goods that primarily for the consumption of the wrstern world.

India has has termendous pressures to meet rising energy as lifestyles of its citizens start improving. The fact that they have mostly met the energy needs fueling their 7% economy growth through solar and nuclear should give pause to every republican spouting crap about the negative effects of renweable energy focus on thr US economy.

2030 all electric fleet mostly fueled by solar is a bigger than a moon shot. I hope some of that new technology that is developed has the involvement of US minds and companies.

You know who should run for president in 2020

Jerry Brown. California is a state as big as a country and is as solidly Democratic as can be ..

Any reason he should not?

Steady Jobs, With Pay and Hours That Are Anything But

This is so true.. I have a full time job plus am an adjunct at the university. My wife is an adjunct too .. but getting a course at the university is not a given .. Full time professors get first dibs at classes ( especially in summer) .. So our incomes fluctuate based who gets a class to teach. And did I tell you adjuncts get paid crap.

Despite having a Phd and 3 Masters degree between me and my wife - we are constantly struggling to keep our noses about water.

Excerpt :

Mirella Casares has what used to be considered the keystone of economic security: a job. But even a reliable paycheck no longer delivers a reliable income.

Like Ms. Casares, who works at a Victoria’s Secret store in Ocala, Fla., more and more employees across a growing range of industries find the number of hours they work is swinging giddily from week to week — bringing chaos not only to family scheduling, but also to family finances.

And a new wave of research shows that the main culprit is not the so-called gig economy, but shifting pay within the same job.

Sad.
