TRUMP EXPOSED

If you worked in a lab to design something to expose Trump, you couldn't do much better than this novel corona virus. It hits him in his claim of wealth being so very important, because diseases don't care if you're rich, and will take down people at the country club as easily as they take down people at the mission. It hits his ego, because banning large gatherings shut off the rally hatefests that boost his ego from funk to functional. It hits him in the pocketbook, because people are already cutting back on travel to places like golf courses and hotels. It exposes his incompetence and stupidity. It shows how listening to the science is important, as is working with other countries around the globe to limit the spread of a disease, as President Obama did successfully with Ebola. Trump suffers horrendously in the comparison, as more Americans have already died from COVID-19 that ever even got Ebola, for all the Fox Noise huffing and puffing. That even though the death rate from Ebola is around 90%, compared to the 2-3% for this new disease.

Maybe the greatest effect is showing just how little Trump cares for anyone or anything else, devoid of empathy and only focused on how this might affect his re-election chances. No care how many real people might be hurt, only self boosting of what a wonderful job he is doing, even as more people sicken and some die. And holding back testing kits because revealing the true scope of this would expose just how badly he has mismanaged this situation. His ignorance was on full display as he tried ever so desperately to boost his fragile ego by claiming the doctors all thought he was brilliant and said he should have become a doctor. Yeah, the dope who thinks windmills cause cancer. Even his own ignorant doctor thinks Trump is a fraud. Trump was warned two years ago that a global pandemic could destabilize the world and be a danger to the U.S. Because he hates to hear bad news, Trump soon fired the Director of National Intelligence who produced that report. As South Korea tests hundreds of thousands, we can't even yet test hundreds reliably.

There is real irony in a guy who rode phony fear, uncertainty and doubt to office, and now is being undone by actual fear, uncertainty and doubt. If he gets COVID-19, that will be the top irony ever.
