flotsam
flotsam's JournalI would like to ask a question here
As a democratic voter from New Hampshire whether or not it is deserved, my vote in the primary is given importance. My dream ticket would be Elizabeth Warren with Pete Buttigieg as VP. With the foregoing as a given which would be the more strategic move-voting Warren hoping to swamp Sanders or Buttigieg to add impetus there? How would you vote in my position?
While we consider Needy Amin's Tweet stunt
Remember that in 2011 Barrack Obama roasted him at 9:30 on his way to announcing he killed Osama Bin Laden At 11:35 that night.
Who said it better?
Trump said his Democratic opponents got nothing in the years-long Russia investigation. They got nothing. They have no collusion.
Robert De Niro as Al Capone:Capone: Listen to me here! You ain't got nothin' on me, nothin'! You're just a cop! Fuck you and your family!
From my brother on FB
"trump's my man, look what he's done so far. Turks executing civilians in Syria. Children in cages at the Mexican border. The border wall going through sacred areas and historic sites. The gutting of the EPA and OSHA. Lowering fuel economy and lowering standards for air quality. And on and on. All this is being done for who? Certainly not the average American with children and grandchildren who will have to grow up in trumtopia. Well at least those trumpies being put out of work by immigrants can sign up for the military, cause I'm sure they have lowered the required IQ to fill the ranks due to trump's military strategies !
MAGA= Moronic Asshole Going Apeshit !"
It is time to ask Ergodan
If he likes holding US troops and US nukes hostage better than he likes the cities of Istanbul and Ankara?
I think the Kurds are using a North Vietnamese strategy
"Throughout the battle for Hue, 216 American troops, mostly Marines, were killed as they fought house to house. The communists fought hard, grabbing them by the belt buckle, as they described their strategythat is, staying as close to the American lines as possible to prevent artillery strikes."
I'm betting the Kurds are sticking close enough to American forces that artillery attacks endanger US forces and Turkey is trying to "call their bluff". Gotta wonder what happens when we start taking casualties...
Why don't more military officers oppose the abandonment of the Kurds?
Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Transportation, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Territory, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

(4) That the words used were contemptuous, either in themselves or by virtue of the circumstances under which they were used. Note: If the words were against a Governor or legislature, add the following element

After we left Vietnam The US accepted 180,000 Hmong refugees
I suggest congress should tell the president that if he continues allowing Turkey to engage in genocide they will pass a bipartisan bill to allow a minimum of half a million Kurdish refugees to settle in the US. I'll bet he sends the troops back in rather than face people he tried to betray as a new voting block...
Fuck Mark
Mark Zuckerberg was caught on audio stating that If Elizabeth Warren were elected and backed further regulation FB would have to "go to the mats" and fight. In a world were a common man's biggest fear is a single uninsured hospital visit will leave his children not just destitute but scrambling to cover the fees for a discounted burial, what deformed human gene informs defective units like Zuckerberg, who's wealth assures not a single zygote down to the fifth generation will ever be forced to wield a broom or mop nor even the disappointment of being denied entrance to Harvard, that he is targeted and disadvantaged by a progressive politician? What part of his suffering and struggles to become successful (I ate Ramen, Dammit!) imbued him with the virtue to engage a holy war against others rising to a position of opportunity miles below his own launching pad? In middle school when I first read of the French revolution the wholesale beheading of the elites struck me as mindless and cruel but Zuckerberg makes me incline toward believing it was harsh, but necessary and reasonable.
