JonAndKatePlusABird's JournalI haven't met as many people as you
But Ive seen what youve described among my scientist vs engineer friends.
I chalk it up to the fundamental difference between science and engineering: with science, the goal is expansion of knowledge. Thinking outside of the box and the limits of our understanding.
With engineering, the focus is given these constraints, how do you build a system? I feel like the engineering mindset is conducive to a more rigid type of thinking, one that favors (perceived) stability at the expense of freedom. I blame the lack of liberal arts in an engineering curriculum.
ABC and CBS too
Made an OP about it, but it kind of hacked me off that ABC and CBS werent airing the presser.
But you can be sure that well get Chris Christies valuable analysis of it later on...

Thought this was interesting

Glad you brought up the Schultz aspect
I feel like that's been memory-holed. This isn't ancient history either!
She chided someone earlier today for celebrating the Ossoff win
I forgot who she was talking to but her first question was basically "don't you think it's premature to be celebrating this win and how it could backfire on you???" (nevermind he had given his victory speech and it just hadn't been called by the networks)
She's full of crappy takes but that one made me groan.
