Well said! Trickle up success, Trickle down failures.

I'm the same way, slumcamper, I have to vent from time to time about this very thing. Keep on preaching. We need these reminders to encourage folks to read and understand more about the monster.

Ultimately, the everyday citizens pay for these failures via inflation, taxes and debt costs. They pick our pockets a penny at a time. Hidden in plain sight.

You missed "beautiful" (as in wall).

That's the one that makes me want to barf. Does that kick him up from 3rd grade to 4th?

Likes to use "they" and "them" a lot, too.

Thanks, w/question:

Are those archives buried somewhere in the White House web site, or on Obama's site?

Coyote: Thanks, but what I'm asking is different.

What you posted makes it clear those bots do heavily influence overall content - and consequently reader attitudes - on social media. But what I'm asking is how much do heavy trends like that on Facebook and Twitter influence the news coverage of major outlets like ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN?

For example, in the content you posted, if "Trump Rushed off Stage at Reno Rally" was posted 1,000 times or perhaps 5,000 times, would a network like CBS notice that - and allow it to influence news content selection?

Or, do they instead rely entirely on their own independent investigative reporters and editors to select content?

Note that I don't participate in social media, so I have quite an open mind on the issue.

Are major news networks influenced by Facebook & Twitter trends?

Being a big dummy in the social media arena, I wonder if these ads could create enough FB & Twitter turmoil and traffic to bias network coverage.

Never have understood the rabid, relentless coverage of Clinton's invented "sins", both in US and European media.

This administration is full of elitist narcissists.

They believe we should worship them because they left cushy corporate jobs to serve the public, as if we should feel honored to have them and shower them with accolades and perks.

This whole bunch cannot amass together the moral fiber of my postman, my garbage collector, or my auto mechanic.

Oh, good.

We can finally form a government! Only half one now.

Mom did it.

Mama at home in TN always put chopped sweet pickles (I think little sweet gherkins) in tuna and chicken salad, and that stuck with me. I really love the store-bought bread & butter variety (my folks made those then I was a kid).

I like using the Balsamic vinegar in all sorts of dishes to add a little tartness and to help me cut down on salt. Getting older (70 now) has forced me to make dietary adjustments, but I'll find ways to re-calibrate the taste to old-timey with something, LOL.

Read a story about President Obama last year....

...but can't find the notes.

The article clearly described the dedication and hard work the man committed to his job. If I recall, it was not unusual for him to work well into the night almost every night after some family time, and sometimes past midnight. His aides commented he would often call them late at night to discuss important issues of the day.

If anyone finds that article, please post it. The last year has been so tumultuous, my CRS is now worse. I can't recall where I read it.

I miss my REAL President.

Good summary!

"Psychopathic capitalist predators" are at the root of most all our problems. And they play a complacent, dumbed-down lemming-like populace like a cheap fiddle.

I see that portion of the human race as operating in a completely different, mostly invisible sphere of existence and they've built it so that it's almost untouchable. For example, when I first read up (within my very modest limits) on hedge funds and the complex financial instruments they invented prior to the 2007-2008 debt crisis, I knew we were screwed.

If it were not for the phenomenal amount of assets floating about only in their secret realm, there would be little reason to try to control every aspect of our lives. Almost every penny except what's needed for our basic, raw existence trickles up to them. If that ain't enough, they just print more.

Assholes without money are quite easy to deal with.
