Oh my goodness, Henry. And you were a hero back in the day.

He's in good company with John McAfee. To quote Lord Acton....

Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority, still more when you superadd the tendency or the certainty of corruption by authority.

And, we all know money buys unwarranted power because capitalism does not care......

We have seen so many high-tech superstars fall and fall hard after the 90s market boom.....

Psychological terror as well as physical terror.

They're killing us with...

* a constant stream of depressing thoughts and news planted on public and social media,
* divisive and contradictory rhetoric and lies in huge daily volumes,
* implanted fear of our neighbors, the police and guns, and
* actions that destroy anything of common good - such as an effective government.

* billions of right-wing dollars that originate from our own wallets,
* corrupt elected politicians to spread their dogma, and
* moral abuse of their Constitutional rights to free speech.

Some days after reading the news, I feel as if I've been mentally kidnapped.....

Agree. It's fundamental to democracy.

People are elected to public office using Constitutional and statutory processes that ideally represents the will of voters in the related jurisdiction.

A person elected under those circumstances should only be subject to removal - which invalidates the public's will - using statues and rules established by that same jurisdiction along with traditional due process.

Any persons outside that jurisdiction having concerns should express their thoughts to their elected representatives or political party officials.

Trial by internet blog or small town telephone gossip party-line undermines the foundations of justice.

.......... ..........

What comes to me when I see that photo is.....

Speaker Pelosi is saying: "America, I give you the best president that Putin could buy"....

"America, I give you proof that elections have consequences"........

Trump just wants a budget crisis along with Constitutional crisis.

Our White House had become nothing but a crisis generating machine......

Keep the rubes distracted while destroying our government one nibble at at time.....

And, PS:
Donald Trump is ignoring the law today. And no one really cares.
First Monday in February is legally the deadline for sending a president’s budget to Congress

From: https://www.rollcall.com/news/congress/anyone-care-no-trump-budget-today/
A senior OMB official said in a statement last week that the budget would not be sent to Capitol Hill on schedule. “We will not be transmitting the president’s budget next week,” the official said Friday. “OMB is working on a revised schedule and will provide additional information when it’s available.”

That information became available later on Monday, when OMB began sharing notice that it will release portions of the fiscal 2020 budget the week of March 11, with the rest issued the following week.

This is nothing more than housecleaning for 2020.

I hope the personal stories of each and every one of those workers is plastered all over the news and also kept in our back pocket for campaigns.

It's good ammunition for not just the presidential campaign, but also for use against every Repug congress-critter that has stonewalled immigration reform for years during their career.

tRump's morning intelligence briefing.....

Aide: Sir, are you ready for your briefing?
Trump: Should I have something with caffeine first, like sip a Starbucks? I like that name.
Aide: No sir, it won't help you.

Trump: What was that name you called me before?
Aide: (P)resident Donald Trump.
Trump: Are you sure?
Aide: Yes, that's what the briefing card says.

Trump: Where am I?
Aide: In the TV room in the White House in Washington, DC. In America.
Trump: It's coming back now. That's where I make all my money and talk to my friends on Foxy Friends....on the red telephone.
Aide: Do you mean Steve, Ainsley, and Brian?
Trump: Yes, and sometimes my buddy Sean when I need to know everything about the world.

Trump: Any more intelligence for today?
Aide: Only where your remote and McDonald's menu is. They're down in the black thingy some call the football.

Mr. Plutocracy speaks again.

Mitch is just upset because we're trying to tear down the means by which they built a Repug majority for the corporate world.

Corporate power all this free-market freak has ever been about. His lifeblood has always supporting Big Tobacco, Big Healthcare, or big anything that strips the public of power.

As we've been trying to do since he was first elected, Ditch Mitch......

It helps my nerves to try and understand them and...

determine in what tiny ways I can help counteract their destruction to our government, economy, culture and society.

Republicans, the international right-wing and their global big money supporters have us trapped in a vicious cycle that spirals us downward in many, many ways. And, what hurts the most is that they're using our money derived from profits from our purchases of goods and services to do it. They've accumulated enough resources to keep this gradual downward cycle going for a very long time.

Although as a scientific-type it's helped me to try and understand their deranged primitive psyche, it's depressing to know that so long as we have the global political structures we live under now, it really won't get better long-term. Until we solve the massive global economic, racial and human rights inequality issues, I fear we're stuck under the thumbs of a handful of psychopathic plutocrats.

Thank goodness for American Democrats. We're one of the few positive shining lights around the world........
