After 4 years of easy stories, lots of people willing to talk, it’s much harder to be a reporter or journalist now that we have a real administration. Trump was like crack for journalists, with easy breaking stories multiple times a day. After Trump who wants to do a boring story about a president or administration doing their jobs. Good news doesn’t sell so they continue to grasp at the low hanging fruit covering the hopelessly corrupt republicans who never fail to deliver quackery.
Fox has gone too far and there must be a coordinated effort to deal with them. Fox has
done so much harm to this country and it seems as if they can say or do anything with impunity. It’s no longer about the 1st Amendment, it’s now more of a national security issue. If Fox were handing out poison pills that damaged a person’s mind would our government allow it? Fox has become not only a national security threat but a public health threat as well and should be treated as such. When a company with tens of millions of viewers sets about to sow division and discord within American society with the assistance of a hostile foreign government, just like any other product, doesn’t the government have a duty to take action. Fox is an anti-American company that has done more harm to Americans than any other product in American history and I believe mental health experts would agree that Fox propaganda is a public hazard that has caused millions of people to be unable to distinguish between fact and fiction and Jan 6 is just the latest example of the threat that Fox poses to the national security of the USA. Fox has no God given right, nor does the Constitution allow, a media company unlimited power to say or do whatever it wants while hiding behind the 1st Amendment. Until Fox is dealt with our democracy will continue to be in danger.
So befitting these religious freaks who don't know the anti-Christ they faithfully serve. Stephen

Here we have TFG who is a serial criminal and the biggest traitor in the history of the country who lacks even a scintilla of morality or decency being served by religious fanatics who really believe in their mission. We are living a dystopian nightmare where a once noble and grand democracy is descending rapidly into a kleptocracy brought about by 30 years of right wing propaganda, Christian Fundamentalism, aided and abetted by Russia. Hillary was prescient when she describes a right-wing conspiracy over 30 years ago. And here we are left with a SCOTUS that if not changed will rollback fundamental rights even more for the next 40 years or more. My hope with Hillary was in her SCOTUS picks that would leave our country in good hands for the rest of my life and most of my kids. Now where is the “hope” to come from, who will save our country. Who is the next Teddy or Franklin Roosevelt to take up the fight for soul of our country. I thought Obama was gonna be that guy and while I love him, I can now see he was far too moderate and decent to do what needs to be done. That is stomping out the Republican Party. It’s gonna come down to either our view of the country or the Republicans view and so far they have proved far more effective at deflecting and diverting the attention of Americans who believe that CRT is really a thing and Democrats are baby killing predators. The spectacle of 1/6 and it’s acceptance as ordinary political activism proves that American politics is sick I just hope there is a cure to what is killing our Democracy.

child porn based on below guidelines sentencing in a particular case means absolutely nothing. After having throughly humiliated democrats with SCOTUS picks and abnormal political maneuvering republicans cannot
muster enough class and dignity to welcome this distinguished and graceful judge whose qualifications are abundant and obvious. The childish culture war against us “Libs” never stops. They relish the name calling and smears and think it’s payback for the way Kavenaugh was treated. And to top it off, the party is headed by a proven sexual predator who no doubt had lust in his heart when his pretty baby teen daughter sat in his lap. My Lord, is there no shame left in these political monsters?
Mother F'en republicans. Horrible people. I thought about the people all the people I know who are
republicans. Many are family and friends. Most are successful people who attend religious services weekly. Must are very gracious hosts who will invite me and my immediate family to dinner or vacation homes which is very kind. But they all have one thing in common, their all greedy and wouldn’t give someone a nickel to help others. Most are narcissistic and if they do extend an invitation it’s to show off a newly decorated house or new car. While they believe they are good Christian people, the fact is almost all of them are racists and elitists who don’t live by Christ’s example. And they are all gullible, conspiracy nuts who cling to Fox and Facebook to get their news. Very ignorant people.
Good start. We need the courageous people of Russia to rise up. On the other hand, I'm guilty
of sitting home for four years while the Slobfather trashed everything that makes America good. We, the majority of Americans, sit idly by watching republicans systematically destroy voting rights and attack court precedent that may restrict healthcare choices by women. Worse yet, it will all be approved by a SCOTUS that will set women back 50 years. How long will we be controlled by the extremist, religious right. The 2016 election was all about SCOTUS now 2022 and 2024 Dems must win larger majorities in the House and Senate otherwise history will show us what will happen if a guy like DeSantis wins in 2024. And the truly terrifying reality is as a 60 year old white male professional in a solid blue state, I consistently encounter more people who support republicans than democrats and it’s all because the right dominates the media. MSNBC is a blip on the map compared to Fox and rw radio. We need to go after Fox!
More politicians need to do this.I'm watching a Turkish historical series called
Payitaht Abdulhamid II which is about the declining years of the Ottoman Empire leading into WWI. It’s 154 episodes each 21/2-3hrs long without commercials and tells the story of Sultan Abdulhamid II who, if the series is historically accurate, was a great leader who was fighting to preserve the resources, mainly oil, from the West who set it’s sights on breaking up and colonizing the fading Ottoman Empire. It is riveting and aggravating to watch because all his efforts are undermined by disinformation fed to the newspapers by Western nations and betrayals by government officials. It’s the same old story, plant a fake story and watch the populace immediately believe it and take to the streets in rebellion. At least back then they didn’t know any better and only had newspapers to inform them but just like today, the media isn’t interested in the truth as spreading lies and disinformation is much more profitable.
I can't deal with the FB RWNJs which my BIL is. He gets his news exclusively
from memes so we have meme wars. I gave up trying to persuade him with facts so now it’s just good natured meme wars. I told him his needs new material because he is still sending Hillary memes. In fact, he sent me a Vince Foster meme yesterday. He is a 70 year old rich guy worth millions who goes to church every Sunday. He met my sister at a car dealership, left his wife of 20 years and teenage sons to marry my sister. But the hypocrisy never stops, he paid off the church to annul his first marriage so he could be married in the church again. The memes with the guy praying and the one that said there were no white people in the Bible were particularly effective. I didn’t have the heart to send the meme with the old guy and the halftime show but that is him
