Until after the war, we lived in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. There were my maternal grandmother, mother, father, sister, myself, 2 maternal aunts and 2 maternal uncles when they were home on leave. Later, my grandmother died and the rest of us minus our uncles moved into a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. In 1955, my parents bought a house for mother, father, sister and me. we moved into a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom house. The rest of our family wondered why we needed 1 1/2 bathrooms when there were only 4 of us.
Now he is going to get Mexico to pay for a wall.
It will be on their side of the border. Seriously, if this junk gets blow South of the border won't Mexico sue?
I am 100% service-connected disabled.
I have a disabled veterans plate. The way I walk into a store, people don't see that I am disabled. After half an hour of grocery shopping, then they can see by the way I am walking that I am disabled. I always carry my VA healthcare ID which states I am service connected and DoD ID which states I am DAVPRM/E5 just in case.
Yes, over the last 19 years we have taken in 14 stray dogs and 3 stray cats.
When we are driving down the street and see a stray we will stop. If they get in the car they are ours. Every one of the dogs had heartworm and had not been fixed. On average, each dog had about $2,000 in medical bills which also included complete blood work and medications. All the cats were healthy. We have a pet door going to the fenced backyard so they can go outside whenever they want. They all live in the house. We still have 8 dogs and 2 cats. Biggest outlay now is heartworm and flea and tick prevention. The dogs' diet is half Pure Balance dog food and half what we eat. We also have 2 hens and a turkey but they are not strays. They are our neighbors, but they like living in our back yard. One of the hens eats breakfast and supper in the house. No, our dogs and cats do not bother them.

It was by far the weirdest Congressional meeting I ever saw. It was supposed to be in a different room where he could show slides. They needed to move it to a bigger room. The room it ended up in was too light, I think because of the shades. When North started to testify, every time he talked about a different slide, which they could not see, he used his clicker. No one in the room thought that was odd. I could not figure out if he was making a joke or was just weird.
I have heard that many jails that are releasing a prisoner that day
and receive a call from ICE telling them to hold that prisoner for a couple of days so they can pick him up refuse because they believe that is against the Constitution.
