I have always scoffed at the idea of Alexa listening in on our conversations.

AFAIC, it is ludicrous to believe in such nonsense. Having said that hear me out.

This afternoon my boat auxiliary battery would not run any of the things it usually operates. I came inside and complained to my wife about the battery not working right (with Alexa in the same room). Other than that, I have not mentioned the word battery, typed the word battery or performed ANY kind of search on battery in at least 6 months or more.

BUT, 10 minutes ago, when I got on FB, my feed was inundated with battery ads.

Pure coincidence, I am sure.

Most times I am a glass half empty type of person...

because if things go wrong, I am not as disappointed. (it's a childhood thing)

So, who else thinks there will be a spike in Covid cases after this holiday weekend?

I have misplaced my US Savings Bonds

I bought them in the 80s and have moved a couple of times since then. I have scoured the house for them, but can't located them.
When I go to the government site, it tells me I must have information that I would ONLY have if I could find the bonds.

Does anyone have any advice on how to redeem these US Savings Bonds?
