Just finished The Kings Avatar on Netflix

Anyone who enjoys video games should get a big kick out of this series. The acting, on the most part, is very good, the story line is believable and it has a satisfying ending.
Recommended!!
Also, the anime is good too, but difficult to find.

Question about Handmaids Tale

Is it completely depressing? Will I want to commit Seppuku after every episode? Or is there hope involved in this series?
My psyche cannot handle another absolute downer of a show.

PS There are two reasons why I haven't watched Game of Thrones. One, I heard that you had not get attached to a character unless you want your heart snatched out and two, the ending sucked.

I have had tinnitus since about 1986. Most of the time I don't even notice.

It is like a bunch of cicadas in my head, but it is what it is. NOW, in the past two weeks, I've noticed something new in my head to compete with the cicadas. It is evidently called "The HUM" and is like a an aquarium air pump in there.
I can ONLY hear this when I am trying to go to sleep, but I am worried that it will get louder and more annoying.
Anyone else have The Hum and how are you handling it? Does it get worse or stay the same level?

When asked to reflect on the last year at the court in his first public appearance since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Roberts said Friday he was concerned that lately some critics of the court’s controversial decisions have questioned the legitimacy of the court, which he said was a mistake. He did not mention any specific cases or critics by name.

“If the court doesn’t retain its legitimate function of interpreting the constitution, I’m not sure who would take up that mantle. You don’t want the political branches telling you what the law is, and you don’t want public opinion to be the guide about what the appropriate decision is,” Roberts said while being interviewed by two judges from the Denver-based 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals at its conference in Colorado Springs.

Just a little tip to those with male doggos with "marking" problems

I have an older Bichon who has decided on the last couple of years to pee at least 20 times a day....mostly in the house.
It didn't take long before we got a dozen doggie diapers and problem solved, right? Well, yes, but with a caveat. We were washing a dozen diapers every day. A few months of that and I finally put my thinking cap on.
The solution was so simple. We have also been using Costco pee pads for a long time. I figured out that if I cut them into 9 pieces (they have the fold lines on them), they fit perfectly into Zachs diaper and now all we do is throw one away and replace it with another.
Now we only wash diapers about once a week.

Hope this helps someone.

One of the major differences between repugs and Democrats

If we pass a major piece of legislation, "we" spend the next week 'plaining it. If the repugs do the same thing, they don't say a thing...just eat your lunch and stfu.
I don't know why we have to explain WHY we do things to help people. It's the RIGHT thing to do. That should be enough.
