Guatemalan national Victorina Morales and Costa Rican national Sandra Diaz are among at least five former and current undocumented housekeepers at Trump’s club who say they were given fake documents and subjected to “abuse and racial harassment.”

Both the women say club management knew they were undocumented but provided them with the forgeries anyway.

Anibal Romero, a Newark attorney who represents several undocumented immigrants who used to work at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, said Friday he recently met with investigators from the state attorney general’s office and handed over fraudulent green cards and Social Security numbers that management at the club allegedly procured and gave his clients, Victorina Morales and Sandra Diaz.

Before he met with the state prosecutors, Romero said he reached out to Mueller’s office because, while he wanted to contact federal authorities, he was concerned about looping in the Justice Department, which was headed by Jeff Sessions at the time.

“I wasn’t sure, one, if they’d take me seriously and, two, if this could backfire on my clients,” Romero told The News, referencing the Trump administration’s aggressive immigration agenda.

Romero said Morales understands her coming forward could result in legal repercussions but says she is motivated to speak out because of the blatant hypocrisy in Trump employing undocumented immigrants at his golf club while at the same time demonizing them from his Oval Office pulpit.

Obviously, you can’t put the wall adjacent to a huge river that increasingly floods. So you have to put it a significant distance from the river.

But that means the border would, as O’Rourke points out:

“Block access to the Rio Grande River, the 4th longest river in North America”
“Seize land from Americans through eminent domain”
“Exile hundreds of thousands of acres of the U.S. to a no mans land between the river and the wall”
“Seal off critical wildlife corridors” and
“Destroy YOUR public lands.”

Senior Tory and Labour MPs are planning to force the government to delay Brexit by several months to avoid a no-deal outcome if Theresa May fails to get her deal through parliament in January, the Observer has been told.

Cross-party talks have been under way for several weeks to ensure the 29 March date is put back – probably until July at the latest – if the government does not push for a delay itself. It is also understood that cabinet ministers have discussed the option of a delay with senior backbench MPs in both the main parties and that Downing Street is considering scenarios in which a delay might have to be requested from Brussels.

One senior Tory backbencher said: “I have had these discussions with ministers. They will not say so in public but of course the option of a delay has to be looked at in detail now. If we are determined to avoid a no deal, and the prime minister’s deal fails, we will have to ask to stop the clock, and that will give time for us to decide to go whatever way we decide thereafter.”

Trump and his sycophants are ignoring the fact that Pelosi just won a crushing victory over Trump and the GOP in November. She didn't just win back the House, she curbstomped Republicans all across the country on a platform of government overand putting a stop to Trump's abusive white nationalist policies. Her mandate is loud and extremely unambiguous. When she swings that gavel, her first words are going to be a much more pleasant version of, "Fuck your wall."

At the same time, having the Democrats put so much effort into resisting Trump's most obvious symbol of racism will unify them behind Pelosi at exactly the moment Republicans should be looking to find ways to weaken her. When she inevitably forces Trump to back down, because that's the only way this ends, with no wall getting built but maybe more funding for border security, she's going to be strutting like a giant and Trump will be weaker than ever.

Now that Donald Trump has shut down the government— “proudly” he said---in a vain attempt to fund his 2,000 mile beaded curtain, millions of people are suffering. Some more than others. If you are a federal employee lucky enough not to be furloughed, the United States Office of Personnel Management has made it pretty clear that vacations are a no-go during a furlough.

But Trump’s feckless, Antoinette imbeciles are either too dense or just too out-of-touch to care. To use John Kelly’s words, they are just “playing government”, so they figure the rules don’t apply.

It’s true that Jared and Ivanka are “unpaid” for their roles---unless you count the $82 million they made in outside income since taking their positions. (Funny how that happened.) But they are still bound by the same ethics rules as everyone else. If you are going to profit so handsomely for being complicit and doing absolutely nothing, the very least you could do is follow the same damn rules that actual dedicated civil servants are following.
