Nothing else he could have done of course to mitigate the spread of the virus... It is unfortunate but what ya going do, *shrugs*, heh. Do I need to insert a sarc tag? No need to worry though folks according to Don of the Dead, we do not even need a vaccine because 'This is going to go away without a vaccine'. I suppose he is assuming that all the people he is forcing back to work will either be dead or have been infected by the time a vaccine is available, so why bother? Sigh. Don of the dead indeed.

The tyranny only exists when a company seeks to exert control over THEIR behaviours, not when they want to deny certain communities opportunities, or when they try and deny coverage for birth control etc et al. They are such self entitled privileged whiny wankers. They are exhausting.

I am very sure that there are many businesses out there that cannot afford to bring their workers back at the moment - what next for those businesses? Fines? They are monsters.

Fear of catching Covid-19 will now cost you more than sleep in Ohio. The Ohio state government has asked employers to report anyone who refuses to return to work because they are concerned about the coronavirus pandemic. Reported workers may be ineligible for unemployment benefits.
The coronavirus has now claimed more than 73,000 lives in the US, more than a 1,000 of them in Ohio alone. Quarantine measures have triggered an unprecedented wave of job losses and the state’s unemployment fund is in crisis.
Ohio’s department of job and family services has now asked employers “to report employees who quit or refuse work when it is available due to Covid-19”. The information collected on the “Covid-19 Employee Fraud” form can then be used to evaluate potential unemployment benefits claims from people who are refusing “suitable work”, and are thus ineligible for benefits.

Lava Level Mad?!?!?! I thought all of the ironies had died, but hell no.
RMS covering the valet in the White House with Covid-19 described Trump as lava level mad that the ‘hoax’ virus got so close to him. Seems staffers are not doing enough to protect him from exposure to something that is ‘not really that big a deal, just like the flu really.’
Huh.
He wants to open up the community and expose hundreds of millions to this deadly virus, but one person tests positive in the WH and he freaks the fuck out. It is almost like he values his own life more than that of any other American. The leader of the death cult, who is commanding that people die to save the economy, is becoming yet more unglued as the virus he has been trying to gaslight for months, may have breached his ramparts. I wonder how his Trump voting meat processing plant workers, and the octogenarian Floridian voter feels about that?

Our parents, grandparents or great grandparents, depending on how old we are risked everything and sacrificed all that was required to defeat the horror of Nazi Europe. How brave they were. 75 years later we are witness to the rise of the far right yet again. As the strong man era is seemingly being consolidated rather than defeated in this time of Covid, how disappointed they would be at the worlds lack of collective memory at how quickly things can spiral out of control when good men do not do enough.
