Apart from the fact his executive orders are unconstitutional and will never happen... I wonder which states he thinks is worthy of 100% relief? Hhhmmm *Soph rubs chin*. He is literally signalling to the nation, if you are in a red state or purple state he will have your back 100% on this, and if you are in a blue state he will happily see you destitute if the state finances are too strained to contribute to the extra relief package. And you know what else - note how he has now gone up to 40% state contribution... so I think you will see, if a blue state can find the 25% contribution they will just increase it to the point it becomes unaffordable. I do not want to sound hyperbolic, but the WH is a mean and spiteful place under Trump and I believe they will rub their hands with glee at the idea of pouring on more misery to states that have rejected Trumpism, irrespective of the economic and public health outcomes that will inevitably impact on any national recovery. They are that horrid.
Trump suggests some states may 'pay nothing' as part of unemployment plan
Speaking to reporters Sunday on his way home from his New Jersey resort, however, Trump said some states may not have to pay, adding that "it will depend on the states." He said states will make an application that will be reviewed by the White House.
“We have a system where we can do 100 percent or we can do 75 percent, they pay 25,” Trump said, according to CNN.
"So you know, they may be, they'll pay nothing in some instances or maybe they'll -- a little bit like the National Guard, like the National Guard, as you know. Sometimes we'll pay all of it depending on the tragedy, or whatever it may be, the disaster," he added. "Sometimes the state will pay 40%, 25%, 10% or nothing -- depending on how it works out."

Historians will debate for centuries how on earth the Trump era came about. It will like the end of Handmaids Tale (the book not the series) where there is a symposium centuries later trying to figure out the mysteries of Gilead. On the bright side, every Trump voter in 2016 who has seen the light should be considered like every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings. The bell being the cut through and the wings being voting blue. Hehe.

I doubt that there is anything unwitting about it. The Chair of Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is a Russian asset. There needs to a root and branch root out of all these traitors. Maybe they will continue to be elected, that does not mean they should be given any kind of security clearance at all. They cannot be trusted with America. This is just another example of what they have done over and over again.

Every time trump opens his gob I hear the opposite of what he is saying is the truth! Of course he is lying about the economy, but I am unsure how successful his gas lighting on this will be when people are worrying about feeding their kids...

Yuck, I really hate Nazi enablers. Or as I like to call them, Nazi's. Because at this point if you still support Trump that is exactly what you are. May they be shunned forthwith, alongside the ones at Trumps press conference, on Friday, at his very expensive golf club, 'supporting' trump against the 'fake media' (I have not included a picture because there are children in it). Apart from anything else, putting on displays of such wealth and privilege at a time when over a thousand people a day are dying, millions continue to lose their jobs in the ongoing economic Armageddon, and because of the republicans not giving a shit about the working and middle class they have fucked over the stimulus package, people will have real worries about feeding their kids, is just fucking rude.
Every single person who still wears a MAGA Hat, or donates to the campaign, or joins a flotilla for Trump, or attends a rally, or stands to protect him from the media at his golf club etc et al are traitors. Every single one of them. They support a man who did NOTHING when it was revealed that Putin had put bounties on the head of US military and serving officers had died as a result. NOTHING. And he will continue to do nothing because he needs Russia to hack the election. So even when they stood by the racist fuckwit before that point because he allowed them to angry, white, and racist in public, even while millions got infected with Covid and tens of millions lost their jobs, I personally do not understand it, but I guess it is difficult to leave a cult even if you kinda know you backed the wrong horse. Putin killing Americans and Trump doing nothing about it SHOULD have been the deal breaker - but it seems like the cult loves Trump so much that one must conclude that they hate America and the men and women that serve it.
