So Trump went all in yesterday attacking some cultists from stop the steal MAGA land for actually trying to uphold the position that the election was, surprise!, free and fair. Cause of course he did. His fact free statement picks some particular chaps with that Trump targeting nasty, and threatening careers etc.
One of the said chaps, Chris Kapenga, decided to write to the former guy in the strongest possible terms!!! A paragon of bravery, indignant @ being accused of basically being a RINO he put pen to paper and displayed such courage and determination to stand up for himself... 👀
Well that told him. Is he actually telling the bully that he is honoured to be bullied by him? Heh.

Exactly this and in the era of the far right we are living through this juxtaposition has never been sharper for a progressive west. 2021 and the in group are not scared to shout out loud the bits they were quietly muttering just a generation ago - because they knew society would shun them then, now? not so much. Turns out that the in group is white ethno nationalist racist supremacist nasty, explaining a lot about they treat the out group, right? How many examples are there for the law binding but not protecting certain communities. Black men is a very obvious one, of course, but not the only one.
Policing during the pandemic has been very illustrative of how the in group is used to being protected by the law, but not bound by it. How many stories have we seen from outraged from the Shires, being stopped and question by the police during lockdowns about the purpose of their journey and how outraged they were at what they saw as over policing, positioned against stop and search of young men of colour, cause walking while black.

Trump is back on the campaign trail, and it is being reported that the MAGA cult who rocked up to hear their messiah mumble and rant incoherently last night in Ohio, got terribly excited when the former guy chatted about Clinton as he was spouting his lies about the last election. Lock her up they chant. They really need some new material.
There is something wonderful about how the former guy cannot get over the fact that Clinton won the popular vote in 2016. He is not at peace with being less popular than her – even though he won the White House. So petty. So mean spirited. So vindictive. Imagine having to live in that skin. Imagine being so knowingly blind to his faults because you want to own the libs. So yeah, ‘lock her up’. Whelp, we are soooo owned. Sure Jan.
On a final note, the juxtaposition of those who supported armed insurrection in January chanting about locking up Clinton proves that all of the ironies have yet to be resuscitated post Trump presidency. As seen last night @ the Ohio rally of which we speak, and found on the interwebs...

For me, although Hunt did a job on the NHS when he was Secretary of State at least he knows the working - so should be him, but as a remainer unlikely I think.
