Dozens of Republican candidates and conservatives lauded Wayne for announcing himself as a Trump supporter, claiming they were fans of the Grammy-winning rapper's work.

Noted journalist and former politician Bakari Sellers specifically called out controversial Georgia House candidate Marjorie Taylor Greene for her professed love of Wayne albums.

Greene faced backlash in August when videos were unearthed showing her expressing racist views about Black people and immigrants, according to NBC News. And despite her newfound love of Wayne, it quickly became clear that she and many of his brand new Republican fans had not listened very closely to his lyrics.

Many conservatives specifically cited "Mrs. Officer" as their favorite Wayne song, believing it to be in support of police. As most know, however, the song has nothing to do with supporting police officers and is simply allegories for Wayne's desire to have sex with a woman officer.

"She know I'm raw, she know I'm from the streets and all she want me to do is f**k the police," Wayne raps in the song, according to RapGenius.

Michael Bay’s Covid-Inspired ‘Songbird’ Trailer Shows the World Ravaged by Pandemic


A mutated strand of coronavirus called COVID-23 wreaks havoc on the world in “Songbird,” produced by Michael Bay.

On Thursday, the first trailer for the pandemic thriller showed a world trapped in lockdown for four years, reaching 8.4 million deaths in a single year. The movie takes place in 2024 and stars K.J. Apa and Sofia Carson, who play a couple separated by the pandemic and living under martial law. Apa’s character claims to be immune from the virus, which may help him as he searches for his girlfriend, who is forced to evacuate her apartment after her neighbor contracts the virus.

“It’s a dystopian, scary world, but it’s a romantic movie about two people who want to be together, but they can’t,” director Adam Mason told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ but they’re separated by her front door and by the virus.”

Other republicans have come out against trump. What's he got to lose? trump's going to lose anyway, but that would seal his fate with any " sane" republicans left out there.

Just wondering. trump can't hurt him in anyway, so wondering why he hasn't said anything yet. The door has been opened now by all the people speaking out. That old school thought of not speaking bad about the president , that book has been thrown out.

Especially if the republicans want to wrestle the party back from trumpism/qanon/conspiracy theories. Bush is no angel himself, we all know that. He has his own sins to atone for. Still, I don't see him as a trump supporter.

And yet, the unsealing of Maxwell’s 2016 deposition — a significant development in the case against Epstein and, potentially, other high-profile associates — received no mention from Q after it was released on Thursday. Instead, the shadowy leader behind the growing pro-Trump conspiracy movement spent most of the day posting about Hunter Biden’s emails.

Marc-André Argentino, a PhD candidate at Canada’s Concordia University who has closely studied QAnon, said that the Epstein scandal is definitely a big story for adherents of the movement “in the sense that it fits squarely within the QAnon narrative,” in which members of the Clinton family, in particular, are among the biggest villains.

However, Argentino said that is somewhat complicated by the fact that “the elites” whose names have been linked to Epstein come from both sides of the political spectrum, and that among them is Donald Trump.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - The era when the United States and Russia decided the world's most important questions is in the past, President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday, saying China and Germany were now heading for superpower status.

Addressing a meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club, Putin suggested that the role of the United States had waned, along with that of Britain and France, while Beijing and Berlin - in terms of political and economic weight -- were heading for superpower status.

If Washington was not prepared to discuss global problems with Moscow, Russia stood ready to have that discussion with other nations, said Putin, who was speaking via video link.

He said Washington could no longer lay claim to exceptionalism and questioned why it would want to.

Ahead of the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 3, Putin said he hoped the new administration would be ready for dialogue on security and nuclear arms control.

Washington last week rejected a Russian proposal for an unconditional one-year extension of the last treaty limiting U.S. and Russian strategic nuclear weapons deployment, calling the suggestion "a non-starter."
