Vidal
Vidal's JournalMurkowski and Collins probably made a deal
I think Murkowski is allowed to vote "No" on Kavanaugh because Flake and Collins said they would vote "yes" and that's enough to confirm him.
This allows Murkowski to look good in Alaska (where they hate Kavanaugh).
But her vote means nothing because Kavanaugh can be confirmed anyway.
That's what I think.
Trump is Done: Manafort Already Gave Mueller 'Blockbuster' Evidence
"Manafort had to deliver some blockbuster, truthful information to get the deal he got.
"Which means that Donald Trump is done. From here its just a matter of working out the timeline and the details for the end of his presidency."

Why the Manafort Plea Deal Could Bring Down Trump and His Family
"All legal observers who commented after the deal was announced yesterday have said that it is highly significant, even though the exact nature of Manaforts cooperation remains unknown. In other words, we dont know what Manafort knows or what Mueller knows. But we can surmise that they both know a lot, and they have the evidence that might ultimately bring down the Trump presidency."

Robert Mueller has even more aces up his sleeve than we thought
Source: Palmer Report
"We all knew that Mueller arrested Rick Gates along with Paul Manafort because he was hoping to get Gates to flip on Manafort, so that Manafort would flip on Trump. And frankly, this was always going to work. Gates is broke and couldnt afford to mount the kind of sophisticated legal defense team required to have a snowballs chance at beating money laundering charges. So of course Gates flipped in the end. Manafort will flip too, because his high priced attorneys cant save him now that his longtime business partner Gates is testifying against him.
But no one saw Mueller indicting the Russians for conspiring to rig the election in Trumps favor. Especially not right now, when Mueller had us all believing that his next step was to bring the obstruction of justice case against Trump. This was a strategic kick in Trumps groin to weaken him politically before bringing the legal hammer down on him. Its the kind of moment that makes you glad Mueller is on our side, and makes you hope that Mueller never comes after you for anything.
As of now, Robert Mueller is simultaneously hammering away at Donald Trump from the obstruction of justice angle thats in focus of late, the Gates-Manafort Russian money laundering angle that weve just been reminded has always been in plain sight, and the election rigging conspiracy angle that no one saw coming. And this is just the stuff we know about. If he has aces up his sleeve as mischievous as the Russia indictments, he clearly has more aces to play that we didnt know he even had."

Isn't Our Government Supposed to Protect Us?
I thought the FBI and CIA and the military would keep us safe from attack against the U.S. from hostile foreign governments.
But they have not. And they are not right now protecting us either.
The attacks on our democracy our current and ongoing.
Can someone explain to me why our government is not keeping us safe from the war being waged against us?
The Only Thing that Motivates the Republicans Now is Racism
There I said it.
They are totally corrupt and will do anything to stay in power because of their fears.
They are afraid of people who are not white-skinned, and very afraid what will happen if they get in power.
I am white and I can see this fear all around me.
I personally don't fear that way for various reasons, but the fear is driving them crazy.
We can expect a lot more bad things to happen.
Greedy America and Healthcare
Healthcare in America is based on greed. This means some people in the healthcare field are getting rich while tens of millions of Americans are thrown into poverty and bankruptcy due to their excessive healthcare costs.
In America, over 35,000 people die each year because they can't afford health insurance.
In America, the average family spends $10,000 per year on health insurance premiums with another $8,000 per year in deductibles.
Most plans now also require co-insurance payments, which require that, even once you meet your deductible, you continue paying some percentage (usually 20%) of all costs.
In America, many people who HAVE health insurance still go bankrupt and slide into poverty due to the greed-based pricing of health services.
The fortunate few who are getting rich off of other people's misery are laughing all the way to the bank. Doctors and corporations have one primary goal: make as much money as possible.
This situation will continue so long as Americans continue to allow the greedy, selfish people to control our healthcare system.
America is the ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD where healthcare is driven by profits and greed instead of focusing on health and taking care of people.
We need only look to other countries for examples of what we can do to fix our broken healthcare system that is bankrupting millions of people and eventually our entire country.
Holding firm on DACA may help Democrats take back control of the House of Representatives in the 201
Holding firm on DACA may help Democrats take back control of the House of Representatives in the 2018 elections.
There are 142 congressional districts that have Hispanic populations greater than the national average, about 18 percent.
==> 52 of those districts are currently held by Republicans. (Among those 52 GOP-held districts, 18 are already rated as competitive by the Cook Political Report.)
==> In 21 Republican-held House districts, the Hispanic population tops 30 percent.
A poll this week found 87 percent of people wanted the Dreamers to stay provided they met requirements such as working or going to school. This is an unusually high percentage of agreement in a nation that is very divided politically.
Supporting DACA is a winning issue for Democrats. Standing strong will solidify and excite their "base" of supporters and increase turnout in this year's elections.
Plus there is this bonus: holding firm on DACA avoids giving Trump a "win" which he so desperately wants.
Democrats must not give in on DACA no matter how long the shutdown stays in effect.
Why there are lawsuits about the book
Book sales.
All the publicity about the book and the lawsuits, etc. has pushed the book immediately to the top of the bestseller lists.
People are speculating that Trump gets a share of the profits and that he is helping the book sales by getting more publicity, which he is very good at.
