Neil Gaiman hilariously responds to Christian group demanding Netflix cancel Amazon's Good Omens

Neil Gaiman knows how to take a joke, even an accidental one. The author responded to the petition created by a Christian group — Return to Order — for Netflix to cancel his show Good Omens, even though it airs on Amazon Prime Video.

Gaiman, who wrote every episode of the show, took the criticism in stride. “This is so beautiful… Promise me you won’t tell them?” he tweeted Wednesday.

Both Netflix and Amazon have also responded to the petition, and of course, made promises neither could actually keep. “ok we promise not to make any more,” the Netflix UK & Ireland account tweeted.

The Amazon Prime Video account also replied, saying, “Hey @netflix, we’ll cancel Stranger Things if you cancel Good Omens.”

I read this on my lunch hour at work. Read the whole article. It's hilarious.

CNN to host Beto O'Rourke town hall May 21: Updated with a Livestream link

Just as a reminder:

Washington (CNN)Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke will speak at a CNN town hall at 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 21.

CNN's Dana Bash will moderate the town hall from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

O'Rourke, a former Texas congressman who lost a high-profile Senate race to incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz last year, announced his long-anticipated presidential campaign in March.

He enjoyed a strong launch, raising $6.1 million on his first day in the race and calling for the national hierarchy "to be broken apart" at his first rally in his hometown of El Paso. But a CNN poll last month of Democratic or Democratic-leaning independent voters shows O'Rourke in fifth place with 6% -- a drop from 13% in the previous poll.
