It struck me that Trump can't answer questions because he never asked the experts these questions.

No questions + no answers = no action.

Maybe Trump will start a reality show with these pressers. He makes the decisions on who dies by allocating the federal response to further his end, by active support of the Republican Party, the plan to take out our democracy. Written and directed in Moscow.

Power restored!

Central Me. Got about 2-1/2-3 ft of nice wet heavy snow starting yesterday afternoon. Lost power at 8 last now, just got it back. Recharging all my power packs, just in case.

I won't be going anywhere for awhile. Luckily, my alcohol and tobacco stocks are in good shape.

A nice anecdotal story of a Dr. on the front lines at Lincoln Hospital, Bronx.

Afrey, an immigrant from DR, returned back to work at Lincoln this week.He's a 3rd year resident who will be basically living at the hospital over the coming weeks. His wife and child are staying with his MIL - (my SO) in MA. He decided to look for a 1 BR singles type apartment for the duration. His landlord told him today he wants him to stay as he is on the front lines of the crisis. He dropped his rent to $1600/mo which was about $800 less than he was paying and close to what a single BR efficiency goes for in his neighborhood.

Nice to see landlords that appreciate their tenants.

Obama's 2015 and 2016 WH Correspondents dinner. Worth a watch!

I posted the 2016 video on another thread, but thought it was worth adding the 2015 and getting more exposure.

The 2015 Dinner....Obama's total takedown of the Trump Birther Bullshit.

Here 's the 2016 dinner....the man was brilliant. Trump was a no-show after the public humiliation of 2015, a coward and incapable of having Obama belittling him.

He was funny, a self-effacing man of supreme ability and confidence. A classic Boehner/Obama skit in there as wll.

I want to see Obama take an active role and Michelle, Hillary and Bernie, too. All of our candidates that ran for the Democratic nomination to add their voices, too.
