My good friend and Army buddy, GGJohn, has passed from cancer.
I posted this in the General Discussion forum but I thought I would post this here also.
He was a prolific poster here on DU until the cancer just became too much for him.
He was my good friend and comrade in arms and will be missed.

My good friend and Army buddy, GGJohn, has passed from cancer.
He used to post here on DU, but hasn't in a long while due to his illness.
We served together in Vietnam.
He was a great friend and comrade and will be missed.
