Peggy Noonan is pretty pointless

asked for her thoughts on the events, on Meet the Press, she said, in a long drawn-out way, in a tone that suggested she was saying something very profound, that "we are in a crisis", and that there is talk of impeaching Trump or using the 25th Amendment. She said this as if it was something that she just learned from some source of hers.

When they asked her to be on the show, couldn't she just say "I don't have any thoughts. Give the time who has something to say."?

(if someone else saw her and disagrees, I'd be glad to discuss...)

It's a flaw in our system that if your party holds Congress you can get away with anything

take a minute to think about it the Dems didn't hold the House.

There would be NO way to hold anyone accountable for this.

The system relies too much on "norms". The GOP has revealed this flaw for us.

spooky photo from the rally before the riot

Trump supporters participate in a rally Jan. 6, 2021, in Washington. As Congress prepared to affirm President-elect Joe Biden's victory, thousands of people gathered to show their support for President Donald Trump and his baseless claims of election fraud. The president addressed the rally on the Ellipse, just south of the White House. (AP Photo/John Minchillo)
