We were working so hard and such messed up shifts... my mattress was cold hard steel and my blanket was exhaustion... and I slept so soundly... 
They are working so hard... because they are patriots and they care...
One thing that bugs me about election vote counting..
With the high stakes of who gets elected and to make sure that our votes actually do count...
Why aren't ballots treated with the same respect as you would $$$$$....
In a business it would be considered unforgivable to just "lose" $10,000 here.... $1000, $2000 here... ect... ect...
Collect $100,000 and don't worry about the $20,000 you couldn't collect or find...
For me in this modern age where we can track billions of $$ to the penny.
+/- 10% margin of error in book keeping would raise eyebrows and get you audited immediately...
However, this level of book keeping seems to be accepted as the norm in election results....
I believe this aspect of voting needs to be changed....
Just my opinion.... I'm a little miffed that in the tight races currently going on... they're hunting down those $1000 bills laying around...

I'm going through the news... I peruse all the various outlets, I like to get the various slants on what's going on out there...
Example, This gal could wear a green belt with a red dress and there will be 40 different articles and various outlets trying to discern the hidden meaning behind it... Really?
It just bogles my mind... the utter fascination...

For weeks my kitties have been wanting to shoot out the door as soon as I came home.... This is a new place for them... today I decided to let them run away and explore... I even went to sleep...
I woke up and both of them were waiting outside...
My kitties have accepted me and for that I am happy..
Our pets own us just as much as we own them,,,,

A little about myself.... Call it an introduction... Because I'm new to the whole political process...
Tomorrow will be the FIRST time I ever voted... and I'm 47 years old...
It wasn't because I didn't care... I do... just I always felt that common sense would prevail and the collective people that do vote would make the right decision and my vote was but a speck in the whole process..
I grew up in a VERY abusive household... I RAN to the military... The Military offered a much better life then what I was living at the time....
The Military was the BEST move I ever did in life...
To share a story...
When I went to the Military recruiter... I went through Medical... and they declared me fit... I signed the paperwork... and I told my recruiter ONE thing... I said PLEASE... DON'T with a capitol D tell my parents I'm joining the Military...
Guess what this $#@$#@%#% did as soon as I left his office... He CALLED my parents... 
and let them know Congrats... I'm joining the Military...
I came home to a shitstorm.... My father... bless his soul... He did about $1700 worth of damage to his house... and broke a lamp we as kids loved... it was a cool lamp... It was a sailor lamp... and he threw it through a plate glass window...
I joined the Military and had a blast... I loved the consistenty... for me it was peaceful... A natural order of things... No chaos...
I've been through two wars... those were chaotic times... I was a good soldier... and it broke my heart... there is no joy in watching people die... it boils my blood to see people cheer when other people suffer and die...
I digress... I guess my biggest issue with trump... and I will always give him a lower case t for his name...
trump has a LOT of characteristics of my father.... I SEE IT....
He's ROTTEN to the CORE!!!...
My Sister, whom I'm very close with... She sees the same shit... The pure EVILNESS...
I've been through two wars and an abusive upbringing... I felt FEAR the day trump was elected... I wasn't a big fan of Hillary... but out of the two she would have been the better choice of the two...
trump suffers from Narcissitic Personality Disorder... REALLY read about that and you'll understand... there is no hope for him... he's a mean vicious individual and he will not change...
Opioid Issue
I was watching the news and Sessions announces a task force to battle the opioid crisis. They are targeting Doctors and Pharmacist.
Having worked with alcoholics and drug addicts I'm keenly aware how bad it is out there with opioids on the street. I disagree with the focus of the investigation.
Given the availability and price of opioids on the street, this is not a few doctors overprescribing or pharmacist giving too much on prescriptions.
I believe this is a cartel type operation going on, groups of people are pulling opioids from the manufacturers by the pallet and truck loads.
They are going after the small fish, I think the focus should be on the manufactures and where their Semi-trailer trucks of opioids are going and follow the $$.
$100 of dollars in kitty toys...
and they are playing in the cardboard boxes they came in... 
I'm interested, with this recent storm damage...
If much needed funds are going to be earmarked for that stupid racist wall of trump's.
These storm battered regions are going to need hard currency and supplies to help rebuild. Stuff we NEED.
We don't NEED that stupid wall.
V for Vendetta
Flipping through Netflix and came across this gem of a show, which reminds me of today's turmoils.
For those that have never seen it, I highly recommend it. It describes a society that is a Republican wet dream, even has a News Network like Fox News.
Then the character V enters the Scene...
I highly recommended show for those that have never seen it.
