In 2011 Maria Butina formed the group Right to Bear Arms in Russia.

In November of 2013 John Bolton records a video promoting the expansion of gun rights in Russia. That video was used by the Right to Bear Arms for promotion.

Video:

In the initial complaint against Butina, she "allegedly makes contact with an American political operative (“U.S. Person 1” in the complaint), who agrees to introduce her to influential figures in American politics. That includes a “gun rights organization,” identified contextually within the complaint as the NRA."

Washington Post

This seems to be a pretty good timeline. Butina had direct contact and influence with people in and out of Washington. That seems clear.

Is our current National Security Adviser, John Bolton, Person Number 1 or 2? Do we know? How much direct contact was there with the Trump campaign or people on it. It's pretty big no matter what. It is even bigger if our current National Security Adviser was working with a Russian spy for the clear benefit of Russia.

The Butina timeline at the link above is from July of 2018. I'm sharing it because this seems to be deeper than I had originally thought. There is just so much going on and so much to read that sometimes people like myself don't get to see a lot of it. Others might have missed how deep her cover went as well. I know many of you on this board are really on top of this stuff.

This seems huge and I imagine she had a lot to say behind the scene.

Putin is fluent in English.

According to reports, he is pretty darn good at it. I know in the video below he has assistance but it's still pretty good. The guy gives me the creeps. There is no way Trump does well one on one with this guy. Trump is outmatched in every single way. In the video below he is lobbying for the World Expo 2020. It makes me feel as if he is saying.... You give it to us or else. The guy just has a cold look.

Articles I have read state that he often speaks English off to the side when circumstances call for it. Some articles say he is fluent to the point he has corrected his translators. He is also fluent in German. That I was aware of.

Mueller has the authority, time, and resources.

From everything I have read he is also a man of great integrity, relentless in the persuit of Justice, thoughtful, extremely organized, and intelligent.

I am convinced few others were as right for this job as Mueller. I’m never one to say “he/she” is the only one. Still, from my limited knowledge in this area and my reading of his history, Mueller was a great choice.

Why do I say this? The Russia probe has me scratching my head daily. From the beginning I didn’t think Trump could ethically hold the office because of his close ties to Russian oligarchs and other Russian entities. My main concern is my belief that they have been an enormous revolving line of credit for him. It’s where he went when conventional loans became more difficult. I felt, and still feel, it created a business partnership that put Trump in way over his head. He saw money. They saw an asset. This was my thought during the primaries.

Then there was the Aaron Nevins issue. He is the Florida Republican operative, a conman and racist to his core, who was in contact with Guccifer 2.0. That fed up to Roger Stone and beyond. A clear assist in a US campaign from a hostile foreign government. Again, before Trump was even elected.

Then there is the fact that numerous people on Trumps campaign had very close ties to Russia and the Ukraine. That includes his fixer and longtime VP of the Trump Organization, Cohen. His ties to the Ukraine are deep, including with known criminals. Many of these relationships continued with shady business dealings in Florida where some of those he worked with saw serious charges for tax evasion.

After the election we have learned so much more. I believe Mueller is now up to almost thirty indictments or guilty please. A number of people are also dealing.

Where is all of this going? When really thought about it’s frightening. The speculation is rampant but it’s being driven by known facts. We already know of impeachable acts they just haven’t come from the right source. Some of these things will come about soon through house investigations. That will bring many of these issues to light from a source of authority. Mueller is the other source it will come from. Their findings will lead to impeachment, IMO. That is just from what is currently known being verified by one of these two more authoritative sources.

Mueller really might shake this country to its core. That would happen even if only half the speculation is accurate. If Trump is Truly a Russian asset, like we often think of that word being used, WTF. We will be shaken. That is so far beyond colluding to win a campaign. Yet Trump himself has done some really odd things that make it conceivable.

Is Trump a true asset?
Did he work with Russian entities to win an election?
Is he out of his league and too stupid to know what he has done?
Is he paying back Russia for personal business interests?
Is he being blackmailed?

Yeah, there is more, I know. This is really some horrifying stuff. My only hedge in all of this is I feel Mueller would be compelled to report if he had information showing Trump is a direct asset, in the manner a direct asset is normally understood. I think we would all be disappointed to find out he has known and didn’t immediately act on the information. It’s something that shouldn’t and wouldn’t be waited on.

One thing I am comforted in is I don’t feel ANY of it will be hidden in the end unless done so by our own elected officials. I don’t see them doing that in today’s environment. These things require too many people, forged documents, legitimate documents, electronic data, etc. I feel Mueller has just about all of it. I don’t view Mueller as superhuman or a savior. I think he it thorough, has been given the resources, and that it’s possible for he and his team to get to the bottom of all of it.

Get the house investigations up and going. Their findings might be our quickest path to impeachment. I’m confident that is where we are headed. I’m frightened at what we as a country are about to find out.

I often talk down Bernie Sanders.

My passion in disliking him comes from my opinion that he would have to change very little in order to have had a huge and positive impact on society. I think he could have had this great impact while holding true to himself. I do have some thoughts as to why he went the route he did but that isn’t what I want to discuss.

It seems people are really divided into two Sanders camps. One either loves him or hates him. As such, each of those sides seems to automatically lose respect for the other side. It often seems automatic.

While I’m not big on Sanders I fully understand the void he filled when he ran for President. I almost find his run as something that was necesssry and should be applauded. We are a big party. I’m of the opinion that Clinton needed to be challenged from the left, even though I found that Clinton at that point had become an all encompassing progressive. Even further left than Sanders on some issues.

Sanders is a difficult one for me. He really could have been great, IMO. He honed his message over decades but stood on the outside as sausage was being made. I get that he is the amendment king. His supporters need to get that makes mr laugh.

I get why people on the left hate Sanders. I get why people on the left love him. I think it’s sad that the camps can’t seem to see common goals. Some think Sanders is an impediment to those goals. Others think the other camp sets up impediments for those goals. Some of both are probably a bit true.

Tonight is one of those nights that I’m reminded how much I like Sanders. It’s one of those nights I think about how he really could have had a greater impact. That really is why I often curse the guy. Not because I think he lost us any election. At the end of the day it’s the person with the name on the ballot who has to deliver. I am still of the opinion Clinton did just that. She delivered. Other unnatural forces were in play.

Here is the Sanders I love. Here is the Sanders I wish would join the party. Here is the Sanders who shows me he missed out and should have been more involved in legislation.

Sanders rebuttal this evening. I love it.

Here is the real deal. Trump, Pelosi and Schumer all hit on it.

We aren’t talking about anything new when it comes to the southern border. Budgets have been passed without the wall and with Republicans in full control. Pelosi mentioned just that.

So what happened? Why now?

We stomped them in an election. That’s what. The decision makers in the Republican Party don’t care about the wall. If the wall works, like they claim, it will even hurt their biggest donors bottom line.

It’s all bullshit. It’s all rich fat cats sending red meat to their base. Their poor, white and angry base. They are ginning up emotions as they are desperate. They are stoking the flames of hate and ignorance.

They don’t care about the wall outside of political reasons. It’s currently one of the cards they cannot lose. The timing makes me think they don’t want the wall.

Former Canadian Prime Minister Calls Trump a Motherfucker

The first and only female Prime Minister in Canadian history kicked off the new year by calling Donald Trump a motherfucker. Well, technically, a “motherf**ker.”

Kim Campbell—who was Canada’s 19th Prime Minister, taking over the Progressive Conservative party for Brian Mulroney who retired from politics in 1993— tweeted, on Saturday, that “he really IS a motherf**ker.”
