USA, Worlds largest economy, first to walk on moon

policeman of the world, we can do anything, but we can’t do that. Universal Healthcare. Is there a clear choice? Universal Health Care or millions continue to suffer more and die earlier.

Drugs most people can only dream about.

Reading about high cost of hepatitis curing pill came across the same argument for defending high drug prices:
“However, Gilead vice president Gregg Alton defended the $84,000 price tag for the drug. Speaking recently at a public forum supported by the American Enterprise Institute, he said that "to suggest that a cure for a disease like hepatitis C should be priced at $36,000 . . . would put a huge disincentive on investing in cures for our industry."”

I believe that price puts that and any other expensive treatment out of reach for 150,000,000 citizens.
Life styles of “The Rich and Famous” should feature the healthcare plans of the Rich. Adding one more thing that most people will never be able to afford.

Prosperity comes from spending money.

Money has to be spent into the economy to have prosperity. Probably half the people spend every cent they get their hands on. They are the heart of an economy. Getting into the upper 25% they spend a small portion of their discretionary income. Get to top 5 percenters and up and they spend a negligible amount of money into the goods and services economy. Bad citizens not concerned about the national interest or spreading prosperity. Money was crated to facilitate goods and services. Money taken out of the economy and put into trusts or used as security to give value to worthless paper is lazy deadbeat freeloading money. Laws like the Glass Steagall Act of 1932 need to be reinstated. Monetary Control and policy are needed to insure that money is used only to trade in Goods and Services. If a person has everything they want and need and they don't want to invest in jobs producing businesses or buy real estate but they buy some false futures or put their money into trusts then all non working money should be subjected to a 75% luxury tax. Preventing growth is against the national interest. It is no different than living at the head of a river valley and damning the river creating huge beautiful lakes. Starving the people down river denying them water. The government should issue those people bonds for their stagnant money and spend the money back into the economy. The top percenters remind me of Scrooge McDuck. Scrooge used to (Probably still does) sit on mountains of money in his vaults admiring and loving his stagnant non working mountains of money. Humanitarian law says Scrooge was guilty of preventing prosperity. That applies most certainly to third world billionaires. They use credits and special dispensations to abuse the environment and economies to amass billions of dollars. Just as wrong as making millions of dollars working to eradicate poverty. Wrong wrong !!!! Money needs to be spent?!?!?!

Bill Gates is okay with new higher taxes on the super wealthy .

Remember this: “In his book, Bill Gates talks about life
RULE 1 ... Life is not fair; get used to it.”

Glad we can count on his support for Warren’s wealth tax.

Trump running a different race.

Trump has a rock solid base. He can pick up the votes to win in his say anything to win campaign. He is already on record promising healthcare to everybody whether able to pay or not. Total lie and no republican would support it. But it will swindle votes from the millions of people that can’t afford premiums, copays or deductibles. Racist racial rabble rousing rallies will pick up more votes. It won’t cost him votes because he never had the humanitarian vote in the first place. His Jobs promise gets a boost from the widely lauded booming economy. False booming because working class wages are still stagnant and nobody knows how many new jobs go to one person. But he picks up more votes. MAGA gets a boost from him challenging to “Love it or leave”. Don’t forget there is a legacy of exceptionalism that denies equality. Lastly is his immunity to loss of support from negative issues , scandals or actions. Pelosi recommended: “Don’t take the bait, just stick with health care, good-paying jobs and clean government.”
With most democratic distancing from Universal Healthcare Trump wins with his promise everyone gets insurance. Same with all the rest of his promises. Winning the election from Trump will require out promising him on all his promises citing Republicans won’t support Trumps progressive promises. Democratics need to point out that they are the party that traditionally carries out jobs and healthcare improvements. Trump has to be out Trumped starting with Universal Healthcare. A centrist campaign will throw the election to Trump.

Spending is not waste.

The right wing has thoroughly alienated people against government spending analogizing it to wasting money. Any spent money creates jobs and adds to the economy. Spending 3 trillion dollars a year to provide universal healthcare would lead the economy to real prosperity. Spending us good. Conserving money is bad. Only a very small segment of self interested people could argue for spending cuts. Besides energizing the economy into prosperity Universal Healthcare would show that human rights are really human rights.

Money spent is not money wasted.

Money spent spurs an economy . Money wasted is money in trusts and money securing non product trading derivatives. The purpose of money is to facilitate the trading of goods and services. Money was not intended to facilitate the transfer of wealth by and to oligarchs. The definition of an economy which is the trading of goods and services has been distorted into the transfer of wealth. An economy is a living institution. It is not single events designed to maximize profits and remove them from the economy. A factory designed to produce a product is an institution. Stripping a factory by selling off assets is a criminal act in economic terms because it ends an institution. Accumulating large numbers in stagnating trusts and foundations is not an economy and not capitalism. There is no positive term to describe spending cuts by a government. A government is not intended to destroy itself. A government should insure the wealth and health of a democracy by taxing low velocity money into spending. Democratic capitalism should ensure a healthy economy by directing profits back into the economy. The results of too much money in too few hands is subjugation. There comes a point when wealth becomes meaningless and control becomes the gratification. Control is the business of government not lucky individuals. Having it your way subverts democracy and government. Democracy is about the many not one.
