Stolen Trump flag in a red neighborhood. Signs of changing times in Texas?

We have lots of dump flags and yard signs in our neighbors yards, so it is not something you would expect to happen here, exactly the opposite of what you would expect to be sure.

So, I got an email on our neighborhood email list from one of our neighbors that his Dump flag was stolen. Which seems odd in our neighborhood since it is a pretty red area. He attached 2 pictures, one of his torn down flag pole sans flag and another of his shotgun at the ready for the next time someone comes for his flag.

I think it is quite funny that he sent a picture of his gun as a warning to all the neighbors...seems kind of silly to me. We all know that this neighborhood is locked and loaded. I find it even more strange that he did not have a camera set up since we have had some burglaries and other activities that have alerted the whole neighborhood that there were some bad actors present and we should all be at least a little more prepared (we personally have a security system, lights, cameras, etc...).

Well, he noted that it was probably kids pulling a prank and I responded with "seems like a shotgun is a little overkill for kids pulling a prank...but hey, your mileage may vary, just get a camera and notify the parents if it happens again".

I wish the whole country would just calm down and I can't wait until Joe and Kamala take office and start healing this nation. We need to get back our sanity and push these hotheads back down where they belong.

Anyways, it looks really good here in Texas, we may be looking at a huge Blue Wave, I've heard from my son in Austin that the students are quite active and voting as if their lives depended on it...because it does. He told me Beto really did a great job getting young people engaged.

Blue Wave.

I thought Joe was going to debate the Clown but all I kept seeing was this guy...

My wife could not stop giggling when the Clown Fish spoke. She said he puckers his lips and just puffs and it makes her giggle.

Nothing he said was funny, but he sure did look like a Clown.

I can't stop loving this young girl's voice, so much force for 14 years old.

This is an original song written and performed when she was just 12. She has now signed with Republic Records, so I am hoping for some good things from her...yep, I admit it, I am smitten.

I'm a Fool to Want You - Angelina Jordan

I'm very happy to announce that Angelina has signed onto Republic Records (Amy Winehouse's label) so maybe now the whole world will be treated to this wunderkind. I've been following her since her debut many years ago and I just knew that someday she would make it big, oh please let it be so, her voice is so great.

Just wanted to remind DUer's that Windows 10 free upgrade from 7, 8.1 still works.

I know it has been posted in threads here before, but I just wanted to let everyone know it still works, almost seamlessly.

There is a caveat. If you used Windows disks to install and automatically format your hard drive during the install, you may have a 100mb System Reserve drive that contains all your initial boot files and may act as a constraint towards getting the update to install.

Check your hard drive setup to insure install success.

1. Check your drive setup.

2. Click Start Run, type "diskmgmt.msc"

3. This will bring up a listing of your disks in a window.

4. Check to see if you have a 100mb "System Reserved" or "Data" partition (no drive letter). If you do not, quit Disk Management and skip to 7.

5. Check the free space column to make sure you have 15mb free space. If not, there is still hope, read on.

6. If you have 15mb or greater free space, then you should be able to install Windows 10. A safer number is 18mb, but MS says 15mb is good. Quit the Disk Management application.

6a. If you do not have 15mb free, here is a website that shows you what to do, but at this point, you need to be careful as you can mess up your pc and make it unbootable if you make a mistake.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3086249/we-couldn-t-update-system-reserved-partition-error-installing-windows

7. I'll refer to this website now for a list of things to consider and do before upgrading and links the to the Windows 10 Update Tool,

https://mspoweruser.com/how-to-upgrade-to-windows-10-for-free/

The upgrade/update tool will check your system to verify if it can handle windows 10.
