Friday Night Album Rock - Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak - 1976

Jailbreak is the sixth studio album by Irish hard rock band Thin Lizzy, released in 1976. It proved to be the band's commercial breakthrough in the US, and the only Thin Lizzy album with a certification (in this case, Gold) in that country. The singles taken from the album include "Jailbreak" and "The Boys Are Back in Town"; the latter is Thin Lizzy's biggest US hit, and won the 1976 NME Award for Best Single.

Larkin Poe on Audiotree Live (Full Session)

Larkin Poe are an American roots rock band originally from north Georgia and currently based in Nashville, Tennessee,[1] fronted by sisters Rebecca Lovell (born January 30, 1991) and Megan Lovell (born May 12, 1989). Featuring strong southern harmonies, heavy electric guitar riffs, and slide guitar, they are often touted as "the little sisters of the Allman Brothers".[2] The band performed at the 2014 and 2016 Glastonbury Festival, and were voted "Best Discovery of Glastonbury 2014" by the UK's The Observer. The sisters have also toured as backing musicians for a variety of other bands, most notably Elvis Costello, Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes, Kristian Bush of Sugarland, and Keith Urban.

Rand Dumb Man thinks Manimal gave Covid to the world.

At approximately 1:01 minutes in the below clip, Rand Dumb states that "transmissibility among Manimals is gain of function".

Last I checked "Manimal" was cancelled long ago and Rand Dumb is simply an ignorant simpleton who seems to state that a fictional tv character was a vector for covid. What an idiot.

Even in his lies he can't remain coherent.

Manimal is an American action–adventure television series created by Glen A. Larson and Donald R. Boyle, it ran on NBC from September 30 to December 17, 1983. The show centers on the character Dr. Jonathan Chase (Simon MacCorkindale), a shape-shifting man who can turn himself into any animal he chooses. He uses this ability to help the police solve crimes.

Ok, so he mispoke...

Still a moron.

Thought Amazon Couldn't Sink Any Lower?? THINK AGAIN!!!

Russell has a way with topics that I find illuminating and very well thought out.

Capitalism is what the phrase "Love of money is the root of all evil", speaks about. Will you take the Red Pill or the Blue Pill?

Today is the big day, Neighborhood Wars...let the Pigs play. War Pigs.

The original title of "War Pigs" was "Walpurgis", dealing with the witches' sabbath.[3][4] "Walpurgis is sort of like Christmas for Satanists. And to me, war was the big Satan", said bassist and lyricist Geezer Butler. "It wasn’t about politics or government or anything. It was Evil itself. So I was saying 'generals gathered in the masses / just like witches at black masses' to make an analogy. But when we brought it to the record company, they thought 'Walpurgis' sounded too Satanic. And that's when we turned it into 'War Pigs'. But we didn't change the lyrics, because they were already finished."

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death's construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh lord yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor

This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us - Sparks

Sparks is an American pop and rock duo formed by brothers Ron (keyboards) and Russell Mael (vocals). Known for their quirky approach to songwriting, Sparks' music is often accompanied by sophisticated and acerbic lyrics, often about women or Shakespearean literature references, and an idiosyncratic, theatrical stage presence, typified in the contrast between Russell's animated, hyperactive frontman antics and Ron's deadpan scowling. They are also noted for Russell Mael's distinctive wide-ranging voice and Ron Mael's intricate and rhythmic keyboard playing style. They were much more successful in Europe than in their native US, though they maintain a loyal cult following in the States.

It has been claimed that producer Muff Winwood bet with his friend Elton John that the song would become a top-five hit on the UK Singles Chart and that Elton John, saying it would not, lost the bet.[4] In his Sparks biography Talent Is an Asset, however, Daryl Easlea reports that this was a "great tale" propagated by the Mael brothers that is contradicted by Winwood himself – in fact, Winwood said that, unsure of how commercial the track would be, he played it to Elton John, who told him, "Listen, I'll bet you a hundred quid that that makes the Top 3". Winwood's wife agreed, and his doubts were allayed.
