It happened to my wife and me while we were driving, a little after 10 AM...it was only in effect until 10:15, and the weather was fine, no sign of a tornado. A few minutes later, a radio alert told us there wasn’t an actual tornado, that this was a test or something, and we should spend the time to study what to do in the case of a tornado. But if we hadn’t been listening to the radio, we would have had no way of knowing that.

The whole thing seemed like a bad idea. What if there’s a real tornado warning on our phones at a later date? How would we know if it was real? This could have a real “boy who cried wolf” consequence.

I was curious about this, because...well, you can guess why. I knew that convicted felons could run for President, but wasn’t sure if they could do it if they were currently in prison. This article provided some answers.

I just heard that he’s an Orthodox Jew, which means he normally wears a yarmulke. So he’s used to doing that when drinking to keep the yarmulke on his head. Force of habit.

Jonathan is a very unique artist. Originally one of the founders of punk rock with his band the Modern Lovers, he soon changed his style to what I call “children’s music for grown-ups.” There is a lovely innocence to his music.
