I'm in the "red" state of Iowa. Our caucus is often determinative.
That's why I'm going to switch parties to R and caucus against Trump. I'll likely try to go to party meetings and talk against him and maybe even work on behalf of another candidate....not sure which yet...
I write this after just hearing Jen Saki and Rachel tonight talking about the danger that Trump's candacy has become, particularly in the last 48 hours.
I implore other DUers who are in Iowa to do the same. We can stop him here!
I heard a good explanation as to why it is that Rs in places like Ohio are doubling down on abortion rights.
In a word gerrymandering. They can keep hammering on the issue and try to do an end-run around the recent decision because they don't have to worry about answering to the voters. THEIR voters will still re-elect them....
Will some of the legal eagles here please explain how it is that she has standing?

Happy to report that in my small Iowa town the Libertarian
who proudly journeyed to take part in the J6 protests got soundly defeated in his run for mayor. Wasn't even close....
Does anyone think that NFL players are having fun when they get the snot beat out of them?
I mean, I heard a college player last week talking about how much fun it was when they were in a brute, physical battle. He said it was like being kids again in the back yard....
Just wonder if there's any of those same feelings when the players get to the pro level....
The joke was on the MAGA pickup owner.....
So, I'm taking my visiting sister through the drive-through window to get her morning coffee from the restaurant with the golden arches (she loves their coffee). In front of us is a pickup with a large decal in the back window - large letters that say "Joe Biden." Standing in front of the "Joe" is a stick figure in an obsene position....the message was supposed to be FJB, portrayed graphically.
I will admit it was difficult to make out what the stick figure was doing, but all my sister in all her innocent nature could see were the LARGE letters saying JOE BIDEN. Her response to the sign was "Oh, good. Joe Biden." I just left it at that and was more than a little amused that the pickup owner isn't aware that the intention of his sign was wasted.
Basically, I'm lazy.
So, I was glad to find this four-minute workout, developed by a doctor....

Solovyov theatrically asked, “Who says that? A dead man walking! He sincerely believes that the next step after the accusations and the declaration of impeachment will be an assassination of Trump. But this man, who is currently the most popular English-speaking journalist, signed his own death warrant!”
