We buy our washers from Lowes with a 3 year warranty.

Every 2 years our washers break down and we just get new ones for about $100. We bought a new one in 2001 then 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019. A mixture of Samsung and LG. There is one problem with the people that work at the warranty company. One year when we needed a new one they said that we had already returned the broken one and got a new one. I said that was wrong we still had our broken one. I gave her the serial number off the machine. she said she had the paperwork. I asked her to send someone to look at the machine. She said it would not make any difference because they go by the paperwork. Took 2 months to get a new one. Last one that broke they sent out a repairman. He said it would cost too much to fix. Two months later I called the warranty company and was told that our washer had been fixed. We said it had not been fixed. We were then told that we did not have a warranty on the machine even though they sent out a repairman. I had to take the receipt to Lowes and they called the warranty company. Lowes had to send a copy of the warranty to the warranty company before they would send us a credit for a new one. 3 months without a washer. Luckily on the last one, our neighbor's dryer broke so our wash and her wash went back and forth. I think the best washer we ever had was when I was a child. It had a big tub and a ringer on top. Drying was done on a clothesline.
