About Me

I'm an owner/operator long haul truck driver out of Arizona. My truck is a 2015 Peterbilt 389 long nose with the full size sleeper that's loaded with the latest technology. It has the Cat C15 engine coupled to an Eaton Fuller RTLO 18918B 18 speed transmission. I love the nomadic lifestyle and to top it off, I get paid to see the beauty of this country! Keep on truckin. I am also a U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. (Ret.) MOS 1345, with 35 years of service to our country. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Semper Fidelis.

Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has asked a judge to dismiss murder charges against him in the death of George Floyd.

a man looking at the camera: Derek Chauvin is asking a judge to dismiss all charges against him in the death of George Floyd. Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Derek Chauvin is asking a judge to dismiss all charges against him in the death of George Floyd.
In court papers Friday, Chauvin's attorney says there is not probable cause to support charges of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

Floyd's killing sparked protests against systemic racism and police brutality around the world.

Meanwhile, prosecutors said Friday that Floyd's killing was so cruel that they want stricter sentences than recommended by state guidelines if Chauvin and the three other officers involved are found guilty.

I think this is pretty routine and, IMO, won't succeed.
