I am not about to give twitter my damn phone number. Especially after I already picked whatever pictures to prove I am not a robot. It won't let me proceed without giving a phone #. If this isntheir new thing, bye bye twitter.
Trumpers seem to be losing it lately. I think distance learning & having to spend time w their kids
are making them go crazy.
I find this interesting...in my women's FB group, all the democratic moms seem to be ok with distance learning. We know it's not optimal (duh) but safety first. These women are pushing kids to go back to school even if safe metrics have not been met. And are now all riled up bc teachers don't want to risk their lives in a classroom setting. Teachers were heroes. Now they are the devil bc they don't want to do their jobs so that precious Johnny can experience in person schooling bc he is having such a hard time at home. I don't understand this bc we are doing the same exact thing and my kids aren't losing their shit. I teach my kids life isn't perfect so go with the flow. Make lemonade out of lemons. SHOW SOME GRIT. I give my kids coping tools and they are doing great. I'm not bragging. I'm just saying this is what you're supposed to do as parents. And clearly, I'm not the only one. The democratic moms are all reporting about the same.
But these conservative moms seem to be losing their minds w the distance learning. It's like they all hate being with their kids. And god forbid they are inconvenienced in ANY way. Some of us think it is bc distance learning, while it is safe, also encroaches on their lulemon wearing yoga time.
This is a huge subject where I am.
