Part of me would love for Biden team to make light of their mischaracterization of him

And create this “he’s so square he’s actually cool” vibe.

Like water off a ducks back Biden cool is back.

And use the campaign dollars and talent available to also have a real time fact check/push back.

I watched his St.Louis and Kansas City rallies, and he had a couple of moments where he had to recollect his thoughts and press forward which he did, but I also saw him do a GREAT job engaging with a couple of hecklers/protesters and use it to make fun of Trump rallies but also invite them to come speak with him afterward re: their concerns. Then he moved back into the original train of thought he had been going down.

It is all lies and bullshit. I do believe there is a 2 pronged counter attack to launch for multiple audiences.

A big test Monday about who is winning Coronavirus data wars

News outlets are currently reporting over 400 confirmed Coronavirus infections in the US as of today, Mar 7.

CDC website still says only 164 cases but they also say the updates are based on numbers arriving by 4PM the prior weekday.

They should register at least part of the jump with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday numbers rolled together.

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-in-us.html

If they are below the 400 number in Monday’s update, then we know Pence and WH are still playing politics with medical emergency. We MUST communicate to CDC and congress members to hold these people to account.

Joe Biden's not being a programmed and expert candidate re: oratory May be working for him

First, I’ve watched Joe for many many years. I know he had his issues making headway in more genteel times when he was accused of plagiarism.

But that seems so quaint now.

During all of those years in the Senate he has been truly liked by both Dems and Repub. He comes across as a decent person who know how to steer through tough issues that come up every day in politics and leadership.

He may spit things out incorrectly or get the specifics of a past event a little wrong, but people are rooting him on.

It would s still amazing to me what he pulled off after arriving at South Carolina with only fumes in the tank. Now he has flipped the story and a broad cross section of America feels comfortable about him.

A lot of working class white and working class black voters are put off by the highly perfect and programmed messaging from other candidates. They are looking for a safe harbor in the storms whipping around them.

Joe feels wholesome, what people think America has stood for these many decades. He doesn’t run around calling people losers and snakes. He says “let’s unite as a party and a country” and fight for the soul of this country.

Most GOP senators including McTurtle are old and high risk to die from corona

It would be in their best interests to force Donald to do his fucking job and stop playing perceptions game on national emergency.

Where are the goddamn test kits! I thought hundreds of thousand would go out now

After the ridiculous Trump CDC and FDA got off their asses to provide clearance for manufacture.

Right now we are lacking credible data and information for public health officials, physicians and others to properly contain and isolate those affected.

We are probably facing forced school closures and lots of work from home days for my wife and me very soon.

Elections have consequences.

Another almost 1000 point slide in DJIA even after half percent Fed interest drop

Good times. Now Trump has to go pretend he cares about tornado victims in Nashville while smoldering about drop in stocks and what is sure to be a sudden uptick in reported Corona Virus cases in the US over the next week or so.

Maybe this was well covered--what was to be gained by multi agency announcement re: Super Tues?

From a pragmatic side, I didn’t see any concrete actions they were telling Dems at primaries to take. Are their interests aligned with Putin’s and they want to undermine faith in the process?

It would not surprise me if they openly lie and say election tampering is found and emanating from Ukraine so they can fully resurrect that conspiracy ahead of general election.

Going with the unity theme--my wife voted for Sanders and I voted for Biden

We didn’t declare war on each other. We’re not the types to electioneer one another. We both had different things this time motivating us.

We are in California and lived in other states for prior presidential elections. It is thrilling to be a part of such a big day in primary season, but we are all trying to do the best we can to find a candidate who speaks to us and would motivate us to get out and support them.

I hope this continues to be a relatively clean campaign without a bunch of senseless negativity. Yes, there has been some negativity but far and away mostly from supporters and surrogates.

We need to appeal to the nation at large and win back the soul of this country.
