HC Frontline in W Mich Sends Guy on his Way w/o Note

This story comes from my best friend of forever- who I talk to often these days.
She's a paramedic working in an urgent care. Her twin works same hospital org as ER nurse. Their sister is in Boston as an ICU nurse.
She was screening at the urgent care. Given west Michigan can be quite conservative, she's been getting a fair amount of attitude from some coming in.

They direct people thru a checkpoint for a screening for Covid.
And have them park their car and wait in it for treatment.

Someone else screened a man and said he was very surly. He wanted a note that his anxiety is so bad he can't wear a mask on his face. That it creates anxiety.

That nurse forgot one thing, a pulse ox reading.
My girlfriend goes out with the finger clip and nicely asks can she get his oxygen level. He refuses.

Next up is the Dr. All have discussed this guy at this point.

The Dr. goes out. He said in summary to the rest, he saw the guy had the governor's orders for the state printed, the portion about mask wearing highlighted, and the whole thing laminated.
Essentially this guy was going to walk around with his "card" and tell everyone he didn't need a mask because he had a drs note.

The Dr. told the guy there was no history of anxiety anywhere in his medical chart and he was emphatically not going to give him a note----"in the end", that is. It wasn't a fast process.

My girlfriend said they were so busy it just "so happened' the whole thing kept the guy there two hours.
Or maybe it was another reason.

Anyway, don't mess with the frontliners.
Oh and this is the friend who went a week with one N95 mask.
I got her more through a source.

These people are tired of morons. And their hateful stance on mask wearing.
