6 month post op bariatric surgery update.

First, I want to start by thanking all of you for helping me. Truly, I am very grateful for all your help.

How did I get here? I have lipedema which went undiagnosed for years then in 2012 I developed a rare lung disease which requited me to be on oxygen for awhile. Oxygen dropping and being out of breath made it hard for me to be mobile. Lipedema plus lung disease brought on obesity. I started this journey about 2 years ago at my highest weight of 357 pounds. Insurance required me to lose some weight on my own in order to be approved for surgery. I was about 300 pounds day of surgery and weigh 228 pounds today. So I have lost 129 pounds so far but now I am at a stall. It's getting really difficult to lose more since lipedema fat does not fully go away with just weight loss. Getting rid of lipedema requires surgery and it is very difficult to get that covered by insurance but I am doing it. Medicare requires a lot of loop jumping and checking off to do lists in order to get it covered. It will take awhile but I am doing it. I'm on a 800 calorie a day anti inflammatory diet. It's very strict and very hard trying to get at least 60 grams of protein in per day. My husband took are of me and now I have to get healthy so I can take care of myself. I don't really have anyone I can burden with taking care of me nor do I want to.

Let's see if I can post an image.. I'm having trouble with images so I hope this works.

P.S. My gay autistic son has not seen nor spoke with his homophobic father in 6 months. He's doing well in counselling and taking medication for his depression.

. Dmitry Rogozin, who oversaw the country’s space agency until his July dismissal, was injured when a Ukrainian shelling attack hit the restaurant where he was celebrating his birthday, according to independent Russian outlet SOTA. “Wounded in the back. I will live,” SOTA quoted Rogozin as saying. “The shrapnel [passed] a centimeter from my spine.” Rogozin, also an ex-deputy prime minister of Russia, turned 59 on Wednesday. Russian news agencies reported that Rogozin and several others, including Vitaly Khotsenko, a Ukrainian-born politician serving as the head of the pro-Russian Donetsk government, were wounded at a hotel. Reuters reported that a Russian parliamentarian at the hotel insinuated that the Ukrainian soldiers had targeted the building on a tip.
