that Ukraine might forego asking to join NATO in order
to avoid war.

More on Ukrainian History from a Yale Historian...

He (Timorhy D Snyder) wrote a book on the mass murders taken place in Russia, Soviet Union, and Ukraine between Lenin, and Stalin's rule.

Ukraine as being a district entity in different points of time. In 1648 people first start to identify as Ukrainians being distinct from, and rebel against Poland.
Later Ukraine was divided up between Russian Empire, and some to the The Hapsburg monarchy.
19th Century national rivival starts in Eastern Ukraine, under increasing Russian imperialism moves to western Ukraine.

After WWI Ukrainians advocate faster for sovereignty than Czechs, or Slovakians. They are defeated by the Red Army, and the Bolsheviks.

Both Lenin, and Stalin don't doubt that there's a Unkraine. But what do they do with it.
The USSR really forms from capturing Ukraine but because how it is the USSR becomes a more nominal Federation than a tighter unification.

He also posited on another question about what trigger, button is Putin trying to push.
Putin is trying to have us stop him from invading more of Ukraine. To make us feel guilty ahead of this invasion.
He said - is it Russia's responsibility to defend Mexico if The USA invades it (Mexico). No, it's not.
By the same token we really aren't responsible to stop Russia's next (potential) invasion of Ukraine.

(He's not making light of it, he knows it will be terrible for Ukraine, and Russia)

Democracy Now (a DU poster link) reported yesterday on
Peace Groups both in Ukraine, and Russia saw photos, and video
Some one also said that it was RW Ukrainians, and Ukrainian Nazis pushing the most for fighting against Russian.

This may be not true, or it might be.
Someone told me he n a conversation that there's disinformation from both sides. We need more info.

Did Search. Didn't find. Things missing in my stores (some can fold this in if they know the origina

After about 2+ months while it's not a lot missing
I need these two things!

Drawstring tall kitchen, lawn size garbage bags.

Chilli Powder
(And it's not like there pure chilli bottle that I could mix with the ?garlic, oregano & what ever else bottles)

These are two that stick out, maybe a few minor things that aren't that important since I can't remember them.

Political Science Expert Barbara F Walter said in The New Yorker Radio Hour podcast...

“The United States, until January 6th, 2021, was considered the world’s longest standing democracy,” the political scientist Barbara F. Walter says. “It was downgraded to an anocracy after.” http://nyer.cm/OrwYZ9O

(She said Switzerland is now considered the longest running democracy)

I'd never even heard of this word till I heard this podcast earlier on Sunday. It's the in between between Democracy, and Autocracy.

It comes from a CIA (yeah, not always on our "good guys" list) group

"serves on a CIA advisory panel called the Political Instability Task Force that monitors countries around the world and predicts which of them are most at risk of deteriorating into violence.".
Dana Milbank

By law this group can't access the USA.
She's serves on it, and took their predictive analysis models and applied it herself, and seems to agree with them.

She also mentioned in a tweet someone who mentioned Jason Stanley whom Nevilledog highlighted in
his OP post-
America is now in fascism's legal phase - an article in The Guardian

Her current/new book is "How Civil Wars Start"
