Attorney representing Trump in Texas dispute pushed racist conspiracy about Kamala Harris

An attorney representing President Donald Trump, John Eastman, is known for recently pushing a racist conspiracy theory -- that Trump himself later amplified -- claiming Vice President-elect Kamala Harris might not be eligible for the role because her parents were immigrants.

Eastman wrote the Newsweek column that was widely discredited earlier this year and that Trump cited from the briefing room.

"I heard it today that she doesn't meet the requirements," Trump said of Harris in August. "I have no idea if that's right. I would have thought, I would have assumed, that the Democrats would have checked that out before she gets chosen to run for vice president."

At the time, Trump also praised Eastman as a talented and qualified lawyer.

Jan 20th can't get here fast enough.

Let the De-Trumpification of America begin.

The highway to Hell is paved with Republicans.

Soon Limpblob, you'll be part of that pavement.

For a lifetime of advocating to starve the hungry. Impoverish the poor. Gut and kill public education. Deny healthcare to the sick.

Advocating for right-wing terror and violence.

Rush is the fucking Anti-Christ.

A man with a 'manifesto' threatened to detonate bomb inside a Democratic headquarters in Washington

A man with a ‘manifesto’ threatened to detonate bomb inside a Democratic headquarters in Washington state, officials say

Two senior volunteers were working inside the Spokane County Democrats office Wednesday morning when a man walked in and handed them a piece of paper. Then, he told him he was ready to blow up the office.

“I don’t want to hurt you. I do have a bomb. Please read this manifesto and share it widely,” the man said, according to the local Democratic Party chair, Nicole Bishop, who was not in the office at the time.

The two women, and a man who later came to help, managed to de-escalate the situation. But before police responded, the man with the manifesto appeared to have started a fire inside the office, the Spokesman-Review reported.

The women, whom Bishop declined to name for safety reasons, were unharmed, but the organization’s offices were significantly damaged by the blaze, Bishop said. The unidentified man making the threat was arrested by the Spokane Police Department after he left the office, the local paper reported.

More right-wing terror.

Democratic leadership needs to call on Trump to denounce his RW cult of terrorists.

Spokane, Wa is a hotbed for this shit.

I'm hoping Agent Orange goes this far to shred the GOP..

Him and his cult form a third party that will take on the GOP.

Please Cheetolini, it'd be the most patriotic thing you've ever done. It'd be the only patriotic thing you've ever done.

Americans increasingly willing to get COVID-19 vaccine: Poll

Source: ABC News

With the U.S. on the cusp of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine, public health experts warn that even a highly effective vaccine won't help if people aren't willing to take it.

And while numerous polls throughout the fall showed many Americans were reluctant to take a hypothetical vaccine, now that there are two new, highly-effective vaccines on the immediate horizon, new polls are suggesting that Americans are more and more willing to get vaccinated.

A new Gallup poll published Dec. 8 shows that Americans' willingness to get the COVID-19 vaccine has ticked up to 63%.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Fauci stated that vaccine uptake would need to be "at least 75%. Hopefully close to 80-85%" in order to achieve "herd immunity" and stop the virus in its tracks.

The eggshell of American anti-vax stupidity is showing cracks.

Education is the answer. So is science.

Run ads encouraging people to get covid-vaxxed. Encourage family members to get it.

Our voices are starting to be heard.

Could this become the new way to scold a naughty toddler?

"Stop acting like Trump"

Now is the time to make the case for universal healthcare/Medicare for all.

The Covid pandemic has exposed the need for UHC.

The diabetes epidemic has exposed the need for UHC. Citing CDC stats..

34.2 million Americans have diabetes. 1 in 10. Many of them don't know it and are undiagnosed.

88 million have pre-diabetes. Many of them don't know it. Because they may have difficulties seeing a doctor and getting labs done. For the sake of your health, have your glucose and A1C checked. Diabetes is fully treatable with today's medicine and dietary changes.

Heart disease, cancer, strokes have exposed the need for UHC. Many of these afflictions could be avoided with preventative health care and early intervention and diagnosis. UHC will fix the problem that prevents too many from seeing there docs and getting diagnosed.

The earlier we detect disease the better we are at treating it and living healthier lives.

Vaccinations have likely saved more lives than any other factor in our human history..

UHC could put an end to so much suffering in our country, perhaps more than any other factor in our nation's history.

Now is the time to make the case for UHC. (Jan 20th, of course)

Is today the day that all states certify their election results?

Is it required by law that all must certify today? Or is it a guideline?

Anyone know?

Give me(us) something to believe in.

Why is universal healthcare considered a left-wing fantasy?

Take EU nations as an example.

UHC is hardly a left-wing issue in Europe. It's widely supported by EU progressives, moderates and even many conservatives. Yes there are some cons that want to privatize but they tend to be a small minority throughout the EU.

EU politicians know that a push to privatize UHC would be their own political suicide. Similar to here, how some GOPers refuse to touch Social Security knowing it would be pol career suicide. In some Asian governments, chair fights would break out on legislative floors if some tried to push privatization of UHC.

Covid is changing people hearts and minds. Job losses are leaving many without health coverage. People's suffering will grow due to loss of coverage. I get it, not everyone supports UHC but covid is bringing more and more onboard with supporting a newer, better HC system.

UHC/MCFA should become a centrist fight.

The Democratic Party can stand tall and distinguish itself from the other side while also showing a major spine. In times of crisis, the people like to see a spine. The people need to see it.

Covid is a crisis that has everyone looking around for help that isn't there.

Dems can sell it to the public by framing it like this..
UHC will be critical in our fight against Covid and future pandemics.

STOP treating UHC like a left-wing cause when it needs to become a fight for ALL Dems.

Give the people something to believe in and we just may lure in those elusive swing voters that swing elections our way. As far as the way people think or their opinions regarding UHC, covid is changing the game.

Now is the time to fight for UHC/MCA.

As my eyes open, it's becoming clearer..

Trump is avoiding concession and a smooth transition in order to hide his wrong-doing from team Joe.

The uncovering of Trump's refusal to order from Pfizer back in June is the perfect example.
