I've got a non-stop tummyache. Do you?

The worry and fear and stress have affected me so much in recent weeks that I can't stand wearing anything with a waistband.

It's not from weight gain; I've actually lost a few pounds. The stress is giving me a painful knot in the gut that won't quit.

Unfortunately I need to wear pants in order to go to the store or do yard work. But I'm going for the pants with the loosest, softest fit around the waist.

So if I should happen to bend over, and my loose pants happen to fall, and I inadvertently moon my neighbors or fellow shoppers, folks should accept this as the political message that it is.

Can the Democrats filibuster? nt

'Does he understand what a fact is?' Bob Woodward questions Trump's perception of reality

Bob Woodward questioned whether President Donald Trump was even capable of grappling with reality, after spending hours speaking to him about the coronavirus and other important topics.

The veteran journalist appeared Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” where he discussed his new book, “Rage,” that reveals the president lied about the threat from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Woodward wondered whether the president actually understood the difference between his own lies and the truth.

“Does he understand what a fact is and what is the reality we are dealing with?” Woodward said. “This is a moving train, the pandemic, and it’s speeding up, as all the experts, [including] Dr. [Anthony] Fauci, say it’s going to converge with the regular flu. You know, we are confronting a health hailstorm in the coming months, according to the experts, according to the models that we’re facing. Do we have a president, just in this time, who can kind of say, hey, let’s have a plan again, time and time again, there’s no plan. There’s a Trump tweet or an impulse.”

My guess is no, Trumpy has no clue what a fact is.

But he will soon find out what "fucked" is.

The Tale of Orange Man's Bile (Lake Travis)

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
a tale of sinking floats
that started at a Texas lake,
aboard some tarted-up boats.

The prez was a mighty failin' man,
an Orange Man full of bile,
A pack of Magats set sail that day,
to worship him in style
with the right wing rank and file

The water started getting rough,
the loser boats were tossed.
If not for the Democrats' safety nets
the Magats would be lost.
The Magats would be lost.

Their votes will drown at the end of this
uncharted 2020 campaign
with Joe Biden,
who's kicking butt.
Kamala too
and their team
with every single one of us
here on Blue Wave Isle.

So this is a tale of the disarray,
of the Donald's dump campaign
No brains, no wits, no motor boats
not a single can of soup
a single can of soup

Joe Biden and Kamala too
will do their very best,
to make this country whole again
and better than before
and better than before

So join us here each week my friends,
until Election Day
as we watch the sinking of the Dump campaign
from here on Blue Wave isle
